I have a Samsung Galaxy S10E. I was texting a lot today and at one point noticed the font size on my text messages had increased substantially. I thought the video from WorldofTech would tell me how to reduce the font size. I followed his instructions but no matter what I did the font size on the text messages would not change. On a whim, I used my thumb and index finger to expand/contract the text screen and that did it! You can increase or decrease the text message screen which in turn does the same to the font size. Hope that helps.
From what I've seen by playing with this, the home screen icon text/labels will get bigger if you increase the font size like you did, but only by a small percentage. In other words, moving the font slider to half or 3/4 the way bigger, the home icons text only gets bigger by a tiny bit. Even making fonts the largest you can go, will still only increase home screen icon text by a certain amount. This is frustrating. In display settings, I would want to increase font by a couple of notches, which makes font everywhere noticeably larger, but I want the home screen icon text to be the same. Is there any solution???
