PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT. This is a very BROAD CATEGORY and I agree that many of these decks are not pip decks, perhaps certain cards or suits of some decks but most definitely not all. The process of winding up this series was a bit challenging. Do I add a video on Crystal Tarot Decks, Animal Tarot Decks and Plant/Tree Tarot Decks. Perhaps I will do those at a later date. This series was a personal challenge to haul every deck off the shelf and put it into no more than 10 piles/groupings. There are several decks in this video with minimally illustrated and fully illustrated cards that have a card here and there that is "pippish". For that reason, they fell into this (second to last) category and video.
Very much enjoyed this video! (Don't be fooled by my response to a previous comment. 😉) I highly recommend the 3rd edition Naked Heart! It does have the elemental symbols on the cards! The changes to the courts and the guide book are so worth it. 😊
I don't think the Tarot of trees is a non scenic pip deck 😃 It does not have people in it but the deck is composed of scenes with trees trees. Even the Llili White and TWU are not really pip decks, they are somewhere in a between. The Lili white is full of scenes they are just minimalistic. Pretty much same thing with TWU 🤷♀️
I agree with you, FoT! Tarot of Trees is fully scenic! I also agree that the other decks you mentioned (and including Naked Heart) are more minimalist in their imagery, but they actually have things going on in them, making them decidedly NOT non-scenic pips. Just because there are no humans doesn't make them non-scenic, at least the way I understand it. I find a few others questionable in this category as well. But do we have a good term for these type of decks? A lot of them are minimally illustrated pips in the RWS tradition. Some I would simply call people-free minors. Further into the video she acknowledges that a lot of these are hardly non-scenic, but that's how others define them. We need to come up with some good terms for these! :)
Yes, I agree . . . it was challenging to wind up this series in two videos. I have posted a longer comment above that I hope makes sense to all who feel this way. I wanted to do a plant/tree tarot deck video and an animal one too but that will have to wait for a later date.
Hi Persephone, I posted a generic comment above that hopefully people will read explaining how all these decks ended up in this video. Even though Lili White, for example, is fully illustrated and there is this gorgeous evolution of the Ace through 10 of pentacles, some readers still struggle with this deck style . . . And yes, we need a term. I appreciate your feedback 😊

Deck enabler are you LOL 😊 I have it on my Wishlist for sure! Thanks for your feedback Persephone 💜
What a beautiful collection ! Thank you for sharing :)
To update your description box: the lumina tarot is going to be mass produced this year :)
Hi Azurien 😊 I see there is a pre-sale on now for the deck on Lauren's web site, but not the news of the mass market. Where did you get that info?
I saw it on the french amazon!
@@Azurien wow, €32 is a great price if the shipping is affordable. This French edition is also available on amazon.ca but the price is much higher.
I love your channel! I subscribed after this video.
Thanks for subbing Johanny! Welcome 😊
