Hi! Some absolutely gorgeous footage of No.1 here - would it be possible to use a small portion of this for an upcoming video on our channel? We'd film it ourselves but as you know, slightly hard to do at the moment! We'd fully credit you of course, if not absolutely no worries. Thanks in advance
Yes, of course. Drop me a line and we can sort some footage without watermarks. Barbera F. knows my email address, else let me know which one I can reach yourselves on :o)
Thank you for the compliment. No, nothing professional - just playing at 'home movies' We'll perhaps have to see what projects I come up with once restrictions ease again. The Talyllyn are quite helpful in publishing the loco's they're using each day online, which makes planning ahead to get footage that roughly matches up easier.
Use hotmetal to avoid the smoke, this is the return of steam, energy from the unified field.Google on my name. 30mmx4,5m2 cupper 2mm on both sides slide on and off. cool to hot.
Just had a look: Across 7 trips through Feb, March and April 2018 planned for when No 1 was running, and with shooting locations planned so I could maximise the amount of material I could get on each trip whilst (more or less) maintaining continuity.
@@Pogle Wasn't too difficult, it was shot over the final weeks before it was withdrawn, so was running most weekends. The fingers crossed part was for the weather to be reasonably consistent so it isn't obviously jumping around between shots.
I just basically love the Talyllyn Railway, the scenery. Everything how it was inspired for the SKR
Beautifully filmed; a pleasure to watch. The train is immaculate, as usual. Kudos to this pioneer of railway preservation.
Happy memories of travelling on this wonderful railway.
You're a really useful railway.
don't worry we will see talyllyn again sometime
SKARLOEY!
[Everyone Liked That]
A whole lot better than dislikes.
Yes the skarloey railway and the talillyn railway ar bout biutiful
One bad thing about Steam Trains (and vehicles in general) is that they’re loud as hecc. But the are awsome nonetheless. This is beautiful.

This video is superbly filmed! Can I ask if you do this professionally? Would love to see other films by you of the GLTOW.

@@IACooper i've returned again, how on earth did you manage those steady moving shots at Nant?
@@Pogle A basic camera slider and then multiple takes and practice to get a smooth even movement to the camera that looks smooth.
