I can’t thank you enough I thought a blowout brush and never owned a hairdryer or a circle brush in my life, I’ve walked around with my frizzy bed head hair for forever . I saw this style and I LOVED IT, easy instruction and I was able to get the same results as you!! ❤I don’t ever need to have messy hair again !!
This is hands down the best blowout tutorial I've found! Other tutorials go so fast and make it look easier than it is. You explain the steps several times and go slow enough that I can follow along! Amazing ❤
genuinely amazing tutorial, so comprehensive and you edited it in all the right places but not so fast that we couldn’t see what you were doing! big ups for this vid it’s was so class and your hair looks amazin!!!
I got one of these for Christmas and I have been reluctant to use it because I am so used to my round brush and blow dryer technique, I am going to give it a shot because of this video
This, at its root, (no pun intended) is just doing your hair properly. Why do we have to label her doing her hair, caring for herself, and giving advice as "feminine"? I'm being deadass... I feel that we have to stop this kind of thing. But to each their own.
@@KnijMagzI really appreciate this perspective-but I’d like to add I think the og comment was targeting the expectations put on feminine-presenting people to ‘do their hair properly’ in our culture
@@KnijMagz Hello internet stranger, I didn't mean this in any offensive or harmful way. I was more complaining because I feel as if it is expected of women to be "feminine" which takes more time, money and energy to do. Although this can be perceived as doing her hair properly, this isn't a typical hairstyle that you can wake up and get it done quickly in the morning before work. This takes work, as well as other "feminine" beauty standards. I also used this term because in the queer community there is a dichotomy between feminine and masculine women. I fall within the more feminine side. I hope I've explained myself enough :) have a great day!
This was incredible! I can’t believe that you style your hair exactly the way I have been trying to (and use ColorWow, etc.) Thank YOU, Rachel, for finally solving all of my issues!
The T3 blow dry brush has a removable head so you can use the round brush attachment or the paddle brush one. I always use the barrel spout without a brush attachment to get the wetness out of my roots, then go in with the brush attachment. I’m super happy with it. By the way, I used your haircut tutorial this weekend to trim up my length. The technique worked very well with my thick hair.
@@Rachelmckeown hi, I have super straight hair and oily scalp and I lost so much hair after i got balayage but now the color almost gone and my hair never hold curls… what should I do ..thank you

I love my Revlon too. The only thing Revlon could do to improve it is make the bristles a bit less damaging to the hair. I don’t think they really cause a lot of damage or my hair but maybe a teensy bit.
Oh no way! I haven’t noticed any damage I don’t think 🤔 are you using heat protection? Also it’s best to make sure your hair is completely set angled before you start and rough drying with a regular hair dryer first so that it’s about 80% dry really helps with breakage
This was a super helpful tutorial!! My hair is so similar to yours in thickness & length & to find an in depth video on someone with hair not super long was so difficult. Can’t wait to buy this hot tool & follow your tutorial 🫶🏼
These results are stunning, BUT I have to say.. I used this brush for about 4 months (on 80% dried hair + heat protection!), and it absolutely destroyed my hair. I’ve spoken to 3 stylists about the damage, and they all had the same response “Are you using the Revlon round brush?” 😭 They all said they had several clients with significantly damaged hair because of it. My advice is to find a round brush styler that has a controlled temp!! This one just gets way too hot.
How often were you using your Revlon brush? According to “The Blowout professor” and other professionals we are supposed to leave 3 days in between every blow dry. I follow this rule with the Revlon and my hair is so healthy and shinny even I have a blond bayalage.
In case y'all are wondering if this will work with curly curly hair. Yes! And I even used this approach with a regular blow drier and regular circular brush(since I hadn't caved and bought the brush just yet). Hands down best tutorial for this. I've watched so many and this is the one that did it for me. 🩵 Thank you so much for sharing
Revlon is the BEST blow dryer. My friend used ghd’s and now her hair is falling out! a nightmare. Revlon is the safest and makes the hair the most beautiful ❤
Thankyou so much for putting out such a detailed tutorial!! Especially the part where you explained how you divide n style each section I’ve been looking for a video that explains that coz it gets so confusing for someone doing it for the first time 😅🫠. Loved the video 🫶🏻💕
I use a blowout brush similar to this to finish off with velcro rollers if I want soft curls/waves & volume. Pleased with results after I cut my own layers following your tutorial. I did burn my leg resting the blowout brush on my bare leg for a second so something to beware of.
⭐ Using the Revlon for a Blow Dry! ⭐ Your hair came out great! Thank You. My hair is pretty long but I like your length and layers. What should I ask for if I'd like your length, layers and cut? Thank You!!
thank you for this super detailed tutorial! other tutorials are really hard to follow but I was able to follow this one!! I tried it for the first time today and it took me sooo long but it ended up looking good :) I’ll keep practicing and hopefully I can do it as good as you one day haha
I use this hair dryer, also. I generally use it on a section of hair until it is almost dry and never until it is overly hot. I use the cool setting to continue drying and cooling down and setting the section. Inotice how my hair cuticle closes and smooths using the cool setting. I think it is easier than using a round brush plus a hair dryer and maybe a bit faster.
Rachel have you tried the Revlon Otep One Volumizer Plus? It’s perfect for what you did in this vid. I do my hair pretty much the way you do, but I find that new step one brush better than the original revlon brush (this one you’re using) even though I love the OG revlon brush, it was a game changer to me. The difference is the the step one plus is thinner and actually rounded, not square-ish like the OG one. So it’s perfect for that bouncy blowout look even more than the OG, look it up ;)
