This is what climbing should be every time. No fancy edits or quick action cuts. I just want to watch the full climb. It lets you appreciate the technique.
Man, watching her and Carlo climb this you can tell that the feet are almost non existent and super sketch. Props to her and really anyone who invests time in this route. Great respect for Beth and the first ascent.
I think one of the things I find amazing about climbing is that there are soooo many routes that have such few sends. More people have been to the moon than have send this climb. Awesome to think about.
Yeah! In a video where Tommy Caldwell and Beth Rodden talk about Meltdown, they talk about using cams that are taped to the harness instead of clipped because it saves just a little bit more time and strength - this climb takes it all from you so every little bit counts!
That was sick! Such good ethic too. Curious, before breaking out right to top, it looks like there are a couple of ticks in the seam. Do people finish going left as well?
MP mentions there being a fixed yellow tcu near the top of the route. Perhaps the tape is covering that? Watching Carlo's send there does seem to be a small pod in that spot that could be a place for gear
congrats! now one comment: i see all holds are marked with chalk, all gear placements are double marked. all footholds are marked. all the gear is ready at hand even with tricks to take it out faster. moves are largely practiced, there is no hesitation. this is climbing?
The unedited send is the best. Just climbing. Love that she brushed the holds while lowering. Respect.
Babsi is the ledge. Congrats that was awesome 🎉
Climbs 14c trad. Immediately brushes her ticks. Be like Babsi!
she put a lot of marks, she needs to take them out (she actually won't be able to)
Masterclass in pacing. Punchy when needed, and relaxed when resting. What a joy to watch!

Sweet Moses that run to the anchor got my palms sweaty! Truly inspiring send, what a boss!
immediately starting to clean the holds, what a champ!
This is how climbing should always be captured. Beautiful!
Babs is a fuckin' boss. Sends the project, breaks out the brush right away.
I love the ballet that is the footwork of women climbers! That was an awesome send and a joy/privilege to watch!

Amazing video!!!! Loved it from start til the lovely final brushing :)
this video ist Climbing-Art! Beautiful send und Bravo für Barbara Zangerl und Beth Rodden!
Great climb!!! super impressive gear placement at the bottom and resting time towards the top!!
incredible footage and climbing
i found the rests as captivating as the movement
10mins to climb the route including 5 mins of rest. That’s a masterclass of pacing.
Awesome! I really enjoyed this unedited climb!
Great video! I'd love to get heart rate data from an athlete on a route like this. It must be super intense but the recovery ability is so impressive.
Babsi for president!
extremely amazing! congrats from an austrian fan and climber. it reminds me on your "prinzip hoffnung".
brilliant footwork. Brilliant!
Love this. No self important talky talk stuff. Just sending!
Ah so great! Great smile at the end :)
smooth as it gets!
What an awesome send! Love

Absolutely epic send!

Very impressive and beautiful climb! We want the heart rate data now!
So dope, pure style and strength
Amazing
Babsi is an inspiration to all women climbing!❤
So good !! Bravo
Awesome!
Absolutely unreal!
Probably the driest meltdown has ever been. Nice work.
Are some cams taped to her harness? @1:10 and @1:45

Some harnesses have a couple velcro loops for this.
🔥Very impressive, congratulations!
Awesome climbing! Congrats!
Legend! 🙌🙏

The best!!
Babsi is the best!
my favorite pair of shoes
I've used the same technique (preclipped biner in my mouth to approach second draw) on the belay test in my local gym
Class act!
voll geil!!! ohne scheiss musik. nur die babsi und der bach plus freunde.
Made it look 5.12, wow
Is that the wind?! Very very well done.
Waterfall, not wind.
Thank God the waterfall drowned out the constant babble from below.
Amazing job! What's with the tape on the wall? Is somebody trying to keep a hold dry on another route? lol
MP mentions there being a fixed yellow tcu near the top of the route. Perhaps the tape is covering that? Watching Carlo's send there does seem to be a small pod in that spot that could be a place for gear
So narly! Absolute freaking king line!
The gear placement looks hard.
Raw. 10 minutes long. Inspiring... Just how i like it
Superdope! ❤ Your fans Hannes & Marion
Holy mother of Whopper Whippers - thst runout to the anchor ...
Unreal
What a boss!
Maquina!
THat was intense.
와~~ 축하드려요~ 멋지네요~
so funny -- just looking with the naked eye that the route is chipped - the crack widended right where they need it - -did Beth do that ?
babsi is the goat
5.14c = +- 8c+
that looks hard
Babsi is hard as fuckin nails.
#savethegoat
That doesn’t look like slate?
What was all the silver tape on the wall for?
That young lady has mastered the rare climbing skill called 'the rest'. If you get it, take it
Smart gal, nice climbing.
Great climbing, respect. But a couple of cutaways for bigger picture context would have been good.
😁😎☕👍
why no helmet ??
Delete the audio track.

That's normal for very hard trad redpoints.
"send" aarrgghh! never use that naff word it makes you sound a fool
Climbers been using "send" for decades bro. Chill.
