It's funny because Anthony Flew later went on to believe in God.

Because it is about following the evidence wherever it may lead you… here he is posing a valid question to indulge in … for both believers and unbelievers. The fact that he had dedicated his entire life to studying the possibility of God and now he is convinced of it, says a lot about the complexity of the subject. It’s not a fight between who’s right or who’s not, it’s about really trying to understand what may be true or not and it’s implications

That’s not accurate. He never claimed to believe in God (such as a personal theistic deity) or any kind of god (such as a divine entity among many others); rather he posited an ultimate abstract force or cause.
