    This is a great, inexpensive drill for those small jobs that don't require a lot of torque, like flat-pack builds, general minor maintenance repairs etc. Will obviously not replace a Makita or Ryobi, but that's not what its built for.

    Those screws you are using are Pozidrive (PZ2 / PZ3) not Philips. Pozi is really popular in Europe, and they look very similar to Philips, but the 45 degree diagonal markings on the screw head indicate they're Pozi. You would do so much better using the correct PZ2 and PZ3 bits on those screws. They'll be much less prone to "cam out" and give you better bit life. Edit: Just zooming in I see that you did in fact use the correct PZ3 for the bigger screw, you just incorrectly called it PH3. Take a close look at those bits (especially look along the 45 degree diagonals) and you'll clearly see the PH/PZ difference.

    • @outoftheboxunboxing5020
      @outoftheboxunboxing5020  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Strongly I'm advising to at least rent proper drill. If you drill to long your hands will be tiered and you start to make offset holes. This will going to end up as waist of time. On top of that I don't believe it going to do more than scratching the surface.

    How do you know which gear to use when drilling? I guess you need the most torque for drilling and the most RPM for screwing in? So for drilling it is better to use gear 1 right?

    • @Proton_N
      @Proton_N ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No 😁
      Use faster speed for drilling. Screwing you can go bot ways but i prefer slower because it needs more torque to drive the screw in.

      Above the trigger is a orange button on both sides allowing you to screw and unscrew. If you are right handed use a pointing finger in order to screw and thumb for unscrew. This orange button is going through screwdriver so it's impossible to "screw it up" :). Let me know if my explanation is sufficient...

      @@outoftheboxunboxing5020 Well using PH bit on the PZ screws is a pretty terrible idea, stripped screw heads and slipping out is what tends to happen. In the same vein you missed the opportunity to test the supplied bits and inspect them for damage afterwards, in spite of looking rather grubby, i think they're somewhat better and more durable than you give them credit for.
