In this video, we look at how to investigate the effect of pH on the enzyme amylase. This is a required practical so it's important that you learn the details. I take you through the stages and then discuss the problems with the practical.

I find it impossible to understand the practicals in class as I don’t find that doing them is very useful for my understanding but your videos clear everything up.
Personally I remember how to carry the practicals out, I just struggle to put in words and these videos help clear up any important information that I may of just missed out on otherwise. Which will help on the extended answer questions.

@@lolllsdfkjllsflkhkjlfs for science especially start your revision as soon as you start year 10, start making flashcards and revision notes and remember all the practical methods, the variables, and the hazards and risks within the practicals. I regret it so much because I didn't bother in year 10 and now I have so much content to go over in all my subjects. as soon as you get the hang of a subject go over the past exam questions and that will help so much for ANY subject. Another tip i would give is to have separate binders for each of your subjects and have the specification ready so you know what will be in your exam and how much value that will hold. For English lang just write essays over and over again and use resources and revision guides and practice the past paper questions. for Literature also practice past paper questions and also remember key quotes

I cannot express enough how grateful I am, your videos make science easier to understand, especially for people like myself who often struggle to learn due to a noisy class at school, or for other reasons. Literally revising 2 hours before the exam, haven't done any revision before this. Let's hope they make the grade boundaries low so that 20% = an A* lol.

in the practicles you need to state out the variables aswell because when it comes to the test, it is very hard for some people to do that
