There are quite a lot of control variables for this practical, I didn't include them all but some others include the number of drops of iodine in each well (e.g. only adding 1 drop to each well), concentration and volume of buffer solution, concentration and volume of amylase enzyme solution.
no it cant as the outcome would be when it stops turning blue black which means that starch is present but the outcome would be that starch has been digested by the amalyse due to the solution remaining brown and the time taken for this process to happen, hope this makes sense
