Awesome video. I had a question for my internal assessment which is somewhat related. It deals with the effect of chloride ions on the activity of amylase. But the problem I have is that I have found a few conflicting articles, which some state that chloride ions activate amylase activity while others say that it denatures amylase and thus decreases the amylase activity. So which is which? Is there a way to definitively know what the correct trend is. No doubt a higher concentration will denature it but a lower concentration should activate it.
