But regardless humans are also taught language so I would say this bird can actually understand human language and not just because it was trained. That breed is very smart even without human care…

I’ve seen videos about Einstein before. It seems she’s trained to make certain noises when hearing certain words. She does get rewarded for it though which is probably why she’s happy to do it.

Einstein and Taylor are some of my best favorite parrots.
The intelligence, vocabulary and skill in sound imitation is utterly incredible. It make you wonder how much we may be underestimating animal life.
