  • Let’s dive into Final Factory, a new automation game coming out on April 9, 2024!
Design space stations, build fleets of attack drones to help you defend your factory, and automate everything!
This is the beta version so there might be changed in the actual release version - but I did not encounter any significant bugs while playing.
Find more on the game here:

OK so I found out JUST after I uploaded this that you *can* actually toggle recipes to show on the building with the press of a button - I totally missed that, so that's nuisance gone!

I enjoyed the demo and watching your miniseries (would like to see it keep going if you’re interested in doing so). I am always a fan of the more SF themes factory games. DSP still my favourite but it’s fun to try different things.

I think you can press Q on buildings to copy them?
Or dismiss them from your mouse.

If you press Q with your mouse hovering over a building it will copy it, similar to Factorio. Makes quickly placing things a breeze.

Oh my. Now I’m afraid to watch your upcoming guides - I get the feeling that they will draw me into buying this game!
Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

Can confirm, the gameplay loop is dangerously fun.

So, in one sentence: this is Factorio in space? Can I have a choice like Satisfactory to have enemies attack only if I attack them first? I've had enough enemies irl, so having enemies in my pleasure sphere isn't optimal for me at least. Where's my safe space 😂
Yes, up vote for you producing guides for this game, though Idk if tons of ppl would appreciate it, let me tell you at least this former CPA (circa late 20th century), would appreciate a guide from someone trained like you have been. Some ppl notice...(!)

There is a mode where enemies exist and just have to be cleared out from a place before you build there, same idea as Factorio's peaceful mode setting.

I've played the game and can confirm that while it's very factorio inspired, it still feels meaningfully different.
So if you want more of the feeling of factorio but different logistical challenges and problems and different solutions to said challenges and problems it's very good.
Gotta juggle heat, stability and power all at once.

Just as an FYI: I have and maybe tens of 1,000s of players have EA (Electronic Arts) PTSD at the same level as Bethesda creating and releasing broken games at premium prices like Vault 76 and all their broken games ever since. So, maybe when you use EA, consider using "Early Access," because literally, the pit of my stomach sunk, when I saw this as an "EA release," i.e., an Electronic Arts release, and then remembering not everything can/is just evil and revising my read as Early Access... My stomach still has that great feel of 'oh shite,' but it's going away, slowly.
I and I know so many other ppl will never spend a penny on "AAA" games again. That's why I like indie games. Smaller houses, smaller potential evil... Imo.
    Stay safe.

      @noiseisgold3n42 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. EA definitely makes alot of people associate it with Electronic Arts, which is definitely a negative association.

@@noiseisgold3n42 I mean after I learned the EU got a judgement against EA because of illegal gambling with those in game boxes that had random stuff in it, and then South Park's showing how the game companies knowingly preyed on children with gambling addiction real or potential, I just saw all AAA companies as bad actors and my gov't unlike the EU part of the problem, protected these ghouls...
But to me, Vault 76's unplayable release made me forever think that arrogant garden gnome Todd unapologetic, a personification of our "elite's" Malthusian intentions for us all.
You stay safe, at least you're part of their human resources that realize we could be what's for their dinner...

If it helps, I think the game feels good to play now in its current state.
And indeed, EA and its anti-consumer practices should be its own warning label. o.o

    • @Yardiff

I have never had the “Electronic Arts experience” - yet when I first saw “EA” I thought “nah”. Glad that I watched anyway.
This is why I watch others play games. Besides ideas and tips, finding someone who can show off the thoughtful/interesting things like TDA does helps me decide if I want to sink a few thousand hours into something.
That said, my current DSP game is giving up the ghost after 380+ hours - pity, I was wanting to get 500-1000 hours into that playthrough. Time to play something else until I feel like playing it again.
