Dr. Laurie has dedicated her career to Canine Rehabilitation. In 1998, she designed the first underwater treadmill for dogs and opened the first Veterinary Rehabilitation clinic. She was on faculty at Canine Rehabilitation Institute for 14 years and has taught thousands of veterinarians, physical therapists and veterinary technicians the art of Canine Rehabilitation. She is Board Certified in Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and certified in Acupuncture and Chiropractic therapy. Helping animals live healthy and pain-free lives is her calling and she’s excited to share her secrets with you.

Dr. McCauley has had a lifelong passion to help as many pets as possible live an Optimum Quality of Life. After graduating from Colorado State Vet School, she spent six years in general practice, and then Dr. Laurie found her true calling in the field of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. She quickly became a pioneer in her field, designing the first underwater treadmill for dogs, and opening the first stand-alone Animal Rehabilitation clinic in 1998.
Dr. Laurie has taken all of her years of learning and teaching and condensed it down to create Optimum Pet Vitality, an online learning platform where you can gain the skills and knowledge you need to improve your pets’ and/ or patients’ lives to give them an Optimum quality of life.
