I am the owner of a 2019 MKZ hybrid residing in East Asia. here are really extreme weather conditions with four seasons, so I have equipped my car with CC2 tires.
anyway, i was aware that driving regularly is necessary to keep the vehicle in good condition, but I wasn't know about the how important the high-speed driving for managing the catalytic converter and exhaust system. I usally been city driving(and the traffic here is hellish) and now, it’s time to drive highway. Thank you for providing this valuable information!

Wow, where abouts in east Asia? Yes bumper to bumper traffic unfortunately doesn’t give a chance for the engine to properly warm up especially with the hybrid. Best to take it out for a nice highway drive with the engine continuously working for a little bit. Enjoy your MKZ

Hi great recommendations , I have had three MKZ-h cars staring with a 2013 , then 2016 and now 2018 which is the best of them , it is a select with the drivers package . In all my 60 years of driving this the most satisfying car because of the luxury feel and safety features ( 360 radar , blind spot , park assist , super cruse control etc.). I put on the Michelin CC2 tires so I drive safe in winter or summer , I do the "works" maintenance once a year at the dealership and I an sill amazed that every time I get in to drive how really good the car feels ! Assuming you checked the fuses, try unplugging the battery for a couple of minutes

Hey, im currently looking into buying one here in germany. Do you know if the mkz shares any interchangeable parts with the ford fusion? Lincoln has never sold any cars for europe, so id have to get my parts from a ford dealership. I was wondering if i could get them cheaper by shopping online for ford fusion parts that would fit the MKZ

Umm really depends on what your looking for but most parts are very similar. Suspension, some engine models, etc are the same. Shopping on rock auto for parts is the best.

@@321verykind i just happened to remember a question ive had for a long time about the 2013-2015 models. Does anyone know if theres a way to have to speed be shown digitally? i dont wanna read it off the tachometer, so i was wondering if theres a way to change it?

It’s the same as a Ford Mondeo hybrid so the same mechanical parts. I take mine to a Ford dealership for servicing. I think the only mechanical difference is the adaptive damping. Don’t pay too much if buying in Europe dealers can way overprice. Anything over 25k euro is too much!

I personally don’t ever use grade assist, sounds horrible to me, can’t stand it.

Agree, it sounds horrible but saves the brakes and charges the battery
