It may sound strange, but this is the car I have been dreaming of for a long time.
A few questions:
- Why is the check light on? (Or what is it? I just had only one car and it was a VAZ 2106, and here if at least some indicator is on, it’s awesome😅)
- How often do you use the “L” mode and why is it generally needed for such a new car?
- I’ve never seen so much trash stored in the rear armrest (sorry, just kidding😅)
Hi, the check engine light is for a evap code. Whenever I pump gas, it keeps clicking off, which is the issue.
I dont use the L that much but I only use it when the roads are icy going downhill so I dont have to use my brakes.
My sister drives this car more than I so there is lots of her things. You know how girls are;)

At 14:24 it looks like it has a heads up display with those red lights on top of the wheel but as you drove I didn’t see it, does it have a heads up display and if not what were those red lights?
Those red lights are the pre collision warning assist that flash if you are about to rear end a car lol. I really wish these had a heads up display
How many miles does a mkz last? Thinking of buying a used for 100k but not sure on the reliability

Does the ambient lighting come in both reserve models? Or did you need to upgrade the package
It comes on the reserve models.
How quite is the car while driving at about 120 to 140 kms? It's kinda hard to tell from the video.
You have to drive one for your self to find out. I can’t really tell you through TH-cam. But I can say it’s relatively quiet with the right tires at higher speeds.
My “proximity light sensor “ on key fob doesn’t always work; if car sits for a few days or daylight is very bright. However, it works fine after driving car for a bit . Also the “Lincoln logo” that shines on ground from side mirrors is not recognizable unless mirrors are in full fold out position. Any ideas as to why? Thanks!😊
ah could be a low key battery? You should ask on the Facebook groups. I've never heard of this issue before

It was mine too! I bought it about a year ago and it still takes my breath away every time I walk out to my garage. It's going to be a hard one to top if/when I replace her. The massaging seats, puddle lamps and panoramic roof are among my favorite features!
How does the acoustics play in your car?
Is there BASS?
Terrible bass. I suggest getting a proper subwoofer! Most of the “bass” comes from the front woofers on the door panel which kill the overall sound quality in these vehicles
Dirty car is not luxury car and not for review. Have respect for the Lincoln

Is it possible to swap the screen and put a bigger modern one? Or a Tesla screen?
Not sure. I’ve seen it being done on fusions but not sure about the MKZ

Yes I do. For both my Z’s
I might be changing my 2016 center stack touch panel to the 2017 and newer one with physical buttons panel it's all plug and play no extra programming. There are plenty of low-mile wrecked MKZs out there to get that part along with the cup holders and armrest the cost of that refresh isn't too much either under $500 USD. even if I can't find one from a wrecked car it's still cheap since the cup holder section is separate from the rest but includes the silver-colored plastic trim piece
