- Checking in on and refilling the outdoor wood boiler. Been burning for 9 days. Time to clean out the ashes? How long does a load of wood last?

Good morning. I like the way you stack your wood from back to front in our woodshed. Terry
Dan can’t wait for Friday night live so I can watch it Saturday morning with my coffee 😮😊❤
I Love your Boiler (wood). They are very efficient my Friend. Started using my Woodstove Downstairs about the same time you started your Boiler up. My Stove Wood Length is working out great. I picked that up from you Buddy. Tuning in Friday Night Live to join in with all you Wood Hounds. Vacation Day today going North to Lake George. Be in touch, also looking forward to see that Small Woodburner and how it Works. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Thanks Ron....enjoy the day at the lake!
The weather has been pretty decent so far since you fired it up. I see the little critters are roaming around in the wood yard again lol. Stay safe my friend
HAY BROTHER, LOOKS LIKE IT'S COOLIN' OFF A LIL FOR YA... HERE TOO, IT'S GONNA BE IN THE LOW 40'S TONIGHT. I STARTED A FIRE TONIGHT, AND YOU RESTOKED THE WOOD BURNER... HOW COOL IS THAT... GOOD TO SEE THE WILDLIFE IS BACK IN THE WOODYARD. I'M GONNA TRY MY LUCK AT GETTIN' SOME EXTRA SUSTENANCE THIS YEAR MYSELF... STAY COOL, PEACE FROM CREEL CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO...
I like to put all of my trash off of the splitter into my boiler when I have it going keep up the great videos
Hello from East Central Indiana. I always fire up our outdoor boiler during or the end of our kids fall break. Just depends if we go anywhere or a staycation for fall break. Staycation this year, so... next week is the week for me. Firing up the Natures Comfort Boiler to run it to / thru Spring Break 2024. I to leave bark and saw chippings on the ground. Keeps it from being as muddy in and around the woodyard
2:09 I do the same with with Red/White Oak bark. Keeps the bark mess out of the house as well as lays down a layer of mulch on walking paths.
That rear attachment on your tractor looks handy.
Great video of the happenings around the woodyard. Really interested in your wood boiler even though I live in SE GEORGIA. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
I really like how simple this setup is for this brand of wood boilers. Not sure about the new gasification models, they seem to require more attention and maintenance.
Dan, Great Video on Your Wood Boiler. I started my Woodstove about the same time. So far 2 small cans of Ash out of mine. Even the Deer are Showing up now. Looking Foreword to Friday Night Live to Join in with all you Wood Hounds. PS-STOVE WOOD LENGTH IS GREAT, THANK YOU FOR SUGGESTING IT BUDDY. RON FROM THE WOODYARD IN DUANESBURG NY.
The deer are hanging around more and more now...they like to do that in the Fall and through Winter. Think they enjoy the activities of the woodyard..hahahaha
Will see you tomorrow on your live stream. Stay safe.
Started the boiler on the 9th. Filmed the video on the 18th. I thought for sure you were going to put 9 pieces of wood in the boiler. 9 9 9. 😮
LOL...dang it, I should've to complete the Nines!!! hahaha
Maybe you could save some of the charcoal chunks to use for cooking on the grill or to sell lump charcoal at the roadside stand
Use the slash to fill in the swedish candles
Looks like we have another week of warm weather, i decided to shut mine down until we have nights in the 30s.
In the 30s??? That's way too cold for me....hahaha...I need to have it burning by about the nights in the 50s...lol
Since you didn't have any camo on your head, we could still see a floating head talking lol. Since you put ash in the boiler, could you say that the some of that is ash ash?
Bill
Ha...yep it definitely is Ash, ash. And let me tell ya the reason they named that tree 'Ash'....is because it makes a LOT of ash! lol
Beats the hell outta milking 🐄🐄🐄🐄. October is winter in Wis? It's autumn in NY
Close enough to Winter...lol....I just think in terms of burning seasons...Summer & Winter
Morning Dan
Hey Larry...looking forward to see ya next weekend...so is my dad. He was glad to hear you're coming.

I am going try to make it out there, I hoping to make it
Will your mother be there also “, my wife wants to know
@@larrykluckoutdoors8227 yes my mom will also be there.
Hey love the videos…I too have a wood master 4400 but I have to put a lot more of wood in mine just for 10-12 hour burns. How is yours so much more efficient. Is it because your is sheltered and mine isn’t? Thanks
At the time of this video the average temps outside weren't that cold so that contributes to the long burn time. Also I only burn split, seasoned wood. That's a bigger factor than most think. If you burn green wood or wood that isn't split chances are you are using your heat to 'dry' the wood instead of heat the water, so you'll need to burn more wood.
I’m thinking about using the bark sawdust and little chunks to put on some of my trails in my woods. Thanks for the tip to throw it on the ground. I was just gunna throw it in the woods. So may as well put it on the trails. 👍🏻🪵🪓🚜
Nice weather?? I guess you don't have the firepit really like i do.
lol...well my fire pit will function in any weather. My laptop for the livestream on the other hand will not....hahaha
What if you need it to burn for 21 hours?
Can't happen...basically you're screwed. As you can see the limit is 20 hours.
So your boiler doesn't have a ash tray/trap drawer on bottom?? I forget if it does or not.
Nope I don't have the ash grate on the bottom...it's an add on option with an auger but I don't have it.
@@Back40Firewood that auger sounds cool. What I was talking about was just a drawer that the fine stuff falls into and you scoop out. Seen a few of those on pages i watch.
Dan, in this outfit you realy look like President Zelensky 😝
🤣🤣🤣👍
Hahahahahaha.....thanks Ludo!
If he had his hand out asking for money you would be spot on 😂
I don’t know why people are so against burning pine in a wood burner or a fireplace pine is some of the best heat you can get in firewood as long as it is seasoned properly it needs to be seasoned 2 to 3 years in order to be burned inside, but it is some of the best cheap firewood you can get if you’re willing to put the time into seasoning it
It depends what part of the country you live in, I’m in New England and we have a ton of hardwood available so I don’t need to burn pine but all wood burns and especially free burns the best.
Trade ya some cottonwood for pine
It’s great to get wood from a tree service company as the price of wood here in Ireland 🇮🇪 has gone up to a crazy amount € 500 for a bail of gauge cut wood or kindling and if you wanted a good bit of seasoned wood you would be paying more for it 😲🫣
