Just a thought. Maybe put a tote near the splitter to throw the smaller, (bundle) pieces in. Keeps it out of the trailer and it's already separated when you're ready to bundle. Keep er up Chris. Another great production video.
when i get lazy and don't want to stack right away, i put down a big area of pallets and dump it on them.....keeps it out of the dirt and semi dry....just a thought
@@InTheWoodyard and then i was thinking, how about fabricating something on your claw attachment on your tractor so you can pick up wood from the piles and dump it in your trailer for deliveries when it is dry enough ? i know it would dry better in stacks but just think how much more production you could do if you didn't have to spend time stacking or loading your trailer ? just my thoughts....i'm old and sickly now but i miss my woodcutting days....love watching your vids !!!!
Great work out now you can all be Jeti masters if you will . It’s clear that the force is with you ( Eastonmade) . I look forward to seeing much more carnage in the wood yard. Keep on cutting
While it was great to see the woodyard move, I am glad you are back to Chainsaw and Splitting vids. I missed them. It is amazing just how fast that Ultra cranks out the wood.
Definitely a productive splitter. Stacking off a trailer definitely the way to go. I don’t have dump trailer but my little atv trailer works great. Have good day.
Have you ever thought about wrapping face cords on pallets? Using a machine like the packfix from posch? I've made my own machine machine and love the reduced handling of the wood. Makes my back a whole lot happier. The net wrap only costs about 1.50 pour face cord
Hi Phil, do you have pictures of this product and how you use it. I am 67 back is shot etc. I am always looking for ways to cut back the handling of wood..
@christinelehn4289 no pics on my phone but if you look up posch packfix, you will find what I am using. I have a 48in drum 56in high that sits on a pallet. Once loaded, I have a post that came from a car hoist that raises the drum and a motor that turns the arm around that wraps the netting. I use hay bale netting and cut the 48in rols in half. 8 tight turns give a great hold!
Good one fellas. Chris now that that you have an awesome crew. There seems to be no need to worry about you getting caught up. Nice to see you stacking again.
The way I see it is with all 3 of y'all splitting together you maybe able to catch up with splitting wood to be on track with production. Have a great day be safe.
I'm so glad you got some new friends aka kitty cats!! Oh and I see you got rid of the sausage links on the back of the tractor. Nice to see you making wood again.
