Besides all your knowledge and awesome teaching skills, you also have such a calm and pleasant voice. Not too fast and not too slow. I'm your new fan :) Keep up the good work!
And by the way, this particular lesson gave me so much new information on nCloth. I've been struggling with one of my ongoing projects. My character's cape kept breaking and I didn't know what the cause was. But now I know :)
These two videos have been an amazing introduction to ncloth in Maya, I'm going to experiment a lot with the techniques you showed us. Keep up the awesome work!
So you should *always* add all the animations *before* doing clothes and hair? I have been wondering about that. What if you have two overlapping pieces of ncloth on a model, such a loose t-shirt tucked into sweat pants? Do you simulate them separately? How close can they be to each other before it becomes problematic? Thanks.
Thanks so much for all of your videos, they're super helpful! I'm having a problem tying to set constraints though. You say "Shift Select the Geometry" but when I try do do that it stays in vertices selection mode. Any idea what the issue might be?
Tnk u so much god bless u..😍☺️ bt i've a question..after done all the things if we make some modification in character walking style so will we have to repeat the process with ncloth... bcos i done everything and the clothes were going with the body bt when i changed walking style of the character so clothes are moving separately not with the body
Do you have any tips for a double layered dress where the inner layer penetrates the outer? Or is that something that shouldnt be simulated with nCloth?
Hello, the nucleus, the nCloth and the nRigid stays behind when I anímate the character…how can I recognize in the outliner which one is if I have more than one ncloth?
Thank you very much for this tutorial. Unfortunately my dress didn't want to follow the character, but I did bind it to the joints and it sort of works. :)
Hi hello... Hmm.. I have a little problem.... when I put VFX clothes doesn't do anything, I tried to do this in a new scene with a plane but it was the same, actually I stared to try other things and when I put a fluid container the vfx clothes worked... anyone have any idea why this happen? Sorry for my english i'm still lerning I hope wrote it well...
