      I think if someone made a video on how to set up learnworlds as a patreon-like bare bones subscription member community site, users could raise funds for their content and have time to produce/create online courses for future release or utilise members feedback to test the courses as they are produced. The 200,000 patreons need to eventually migrate to online course platforms… or… why not start on a platform that has the facebook group like feed in the first place?

      @@rodll Great minds think alike. I've been thinking the same over the last couple of weeks. this is literally what I'm creating with my membership site myself. Patron is basically just a membership platform so courses and extra content are what all creators need to be creating. I'll be making videos on that soon. Just wanted to fully get my head round the workings of the subscription side of the platform first.

    I am trying to move my courses from Thinkific to Learnworld. The video you made is very helpful, but I wish it wasn't so fast. In general, a great video. Thank you. As a newbie, I definitely need help from your videos.

      Sorry about that I do speak quickly, it’s something I’m working on 😅.

    Excellent presentation, thank you very much. It was fast but very clear and has motivated me more to continue exploring Learnworlds. I'm an English teacher and host a private Facebook page, but I want to create a subscription community which is far more proactive, provides value and for which I earn something. At present, I provide so much for free! Again, thanks. Steve

    Great video and nice content. Just wondering if LW will allow students to leave testimonials in the course area? I was hoping to inspire students to help each other and as they become affiliates they can post more content as student advisors. Thanks for any thoughts.

      Hi Hugo. I believe you can create a form/survey in the course with star rating etc and that can be added to a “persons & quotes” section on a page. They have info on this but I haven’t created this yet. Though I cannot see away to automate this process in LW. But I would probably use an external system like Trust pilot anyways as people have more trust with it.

    Can students upload forms or share screen to present to the course group live?

    • @garethlamb
      @garethlamb  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on the package students can submit assignments etc. As for screen sharing I haven’t used that but if using zoom then should be fine. Hope that helps

      @@garethlamb Thank you. I'm investigating several platforms. Really looking for an all-in-one for all my projects. Your videos help.

      Glad it helps. Learnworlds is great for schools with advanced learning tools and apps. But less so for traditional marketing features like funnels and email. What do you need? Maybe I can help recommend something as I use a few.

      @@garethlamb I've got several projects in the works. 1) my private membership based acupuncture practice, which has a course or two embedded. Currently in Practice Better. 2) a couple of online courses I'm currently running through FB and Bookship. 3) a larger hybrid business in the works with in person and recorded/community live trainings and support. 4) May be "rescuing" some faculty I know to teach some courses for extra & potentially passive income and I run the platform. I'd love to have a way to do all that in once place with as few additional platforms as possible. Aiming to work smarter, not harder going forward.

      @@dr.janicecampbelldomlacads454 ok so as your needs seem to be more student and less marketing focused, I would recommend 2 options for you. Learnwords: vidyotribe.co/learnworlds has most of what you need in terms of student and community features. Although it doesn't have built in email it does have built in notifications that link to the community. So the only extra tool you would need is an email auto responder. I find Convertkit works best with it and is easy to use vidyotribe.co/convertkit the other tool is one called Xperiencify vidyotribe.co/xperiencify which is a newer tool that is heavily focused around gamifying the student experience to increase course and program completion rates. it has built in email, notifications, community and automations that trigger as students go through different steps. If also links to Facebook so you can drive automated engagements and rewards across platforms. So it could be a good option for you. I hope that helps.

    I noticed that people just cannot navigate the website if she or he didn't log in.

    • @garethlamb
      @garethlamb  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends. You have full control over what pages are available to people who are and aren’t logged in. So you can have general webpages that all can see and pages and areas that you need to be logged in to view

      @@garethlamb Oh really? How to have general webpages that all can see ?? Any secret skills? Thanks a lot.

      Sorry just seen this got filtered for some reason. If you haven’t found it just go into the settings for the page and set to logged in users only, logged out or everyone
