Such a helpful video. Is it by now possible to add texts under the videos?

We really wanted to love Learnworlds, mainly because the website builder was so robust and really looks seamless. The layout of the course looks great. Video player looks great. It truly looks gorgeous.
We ran into several issues with Learnworlds.
    1. The community features are for all of your products together. We serve several very different audiences. To use the community, all of our members were merged together into one community. Learnworlds answer for keeping the communities separate was to purchase separate accounts for every course we offer. Each course cannot have its own individual community.
    2. Support is lacking. Email responses are vague and unhelpful.
    3. Basic elements in our course like external links failed constantly during a live launch. The fix for links failing was to create an ebook with the link provided. That is just a really unacceptable user experience.
    4. Our attendees received DNS errors in Chrome that are still unresolved. We have experienced these same errors as well. Anytime it's questioned we're told the site is fully operational with screenshots of support being able to load the page. There has to be something on the back end of Learnworlds creating these DNS errors.
Again, we really wanted to love this, but these issues, especially during our launch were painful.

These are all really helpful piece of feedback about LearnWorlds. (And I hope their team takes them to heart, too!) I’m sorry to hear you had a rough time with your launch, but I’m grateful to hear where you ran into trouble since that can help inform my recommendations for the future.

Can Kajabi do most of the course creation tools that you mentioned for Learnworlds? This looks super powerful! I am now confused between teachable, kajabi, and learnworlds. :( damn!!!

You may find Melissa's Course Creation Toolkit helpful to download to help you compare these courses. It offers a side-by-side comparison of todays top course creation platforms and would be a good starting point to help determine which platform you should go with. I recommend looking into any platforms that stick out to you and using their free trials to see what works best for you.

I found you and this video through a Google Search for folks who help with Online Course Creation using the LearnWorlds Platform and would like to speak to you about helping me with my course which I have created all training modules for along with the outline. How can we make this happen Melissa?

Hi wit! I'm having some decision fatigue trying to pick which platform to use for my future course. I am a blue collar guy who wants to do a course on refinishing bathtubs. It would be pretty much 98% video footage since it's a hands on skill. Is there an obvious platform you think would be best to use?

      I'd recommend these two resources:
      Course Platform Comparison: th-cam.com/video/pSAL-vjnDuw/w-d-xo.html
You may have already seen it, but this video compares some of the best options for self-paced online courses.
ThriveCart Learn+ Review - course creation platform alternative to Teachable, Kajabi, or Thinkific?: th-cam.com/video/lPoPTvNoUxo/w-d-xo.html
      I hope this helps!

Can I use this platform to sell digital courses in Spanish...? 🤔 Also if you had to choose between LearnWorlds and 🤔 let's say: kajabi or Squarespace, (now they let you sell on line courses...), which one would you choose...? (also to sell both markets, Spanish & english..) Thanks!~

Thank you so much for the great explanation and walkthrough! I have a couple of questions, though. First of all, when users sign up to take my courses, does LearnWorlds allow me to have access to a list of who is signed up? For instance, if I decide to use a different platform later down the line or LearnWorlds goes out of business for whatever reason, will I retain the students in order to transition to a different platform?

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Great question! Yes, you will. When you use LearnWorlds, it’s a whitelabel solution, not a course marketplace. So any students who sign up will be kept in a table within your account. If you need to migrate in the future, you could export those contacts as needed.
