Jordan's Comp: I mean if anyone knows, Mike had greater competition learning how to win than upon winning facing his friend Ewing/Oakley and a former CBA guard in Starks with a second year player Gregg Anthony and then Doc Rivers was never a threat and Mark Jackson loved #23 and Mason was with Denver and Riley didn't put him in the game often because he could really break a train, I loved Mason's game, he was the best kept secret -- could handle, rebound, run the floor, had hustle, great defensively to guard 2-3 positions, and just never got his shot to shine because Riley was too rigid trying to put in his own grate .... Same Riley crazy in Miami got that team losing held back his own success in NY by not playing Blackman and Mason. Sad.
Pip had big problems with explosive players, so I don't think Mike would have had any problems against him. Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway and Nique used to give Pip big numbers. While Pip was a good on-ball defender, he was truly elite at help defense.
