For those who sau mj could not have been a great 3 pt shooter in today's game is quite false. He would be a very effective 3pt shooter today ...not a Curry.....but he wouldn't have needed to be.
Agree completely on 20-30 point differential comment. I'm actually surprised Jordan and the Bulls were able to beat this formidable Knick lineup as frequently as they did. Starks was ridiculous in this game.
This was utterly magnificent to have witnessed as a young kid growing up in the 90’s. Every single game the Bulls played was like an event of epic proportion. This 90’s Bulls team was by far one of the greatest teams ever. They just had it all: clutch game-winning scoring from MJ on a nightly basis, greatest defensive performances from Rodman and all the others that contributed veteran savvy plays at any given moment, such amazing athleticism from Scottie Pippen. They were simply the best team of that era in every possible respect. MJ is hands-down the GOAT and it’s not even close! The man three-peated, then went on a two-year hiatus, came back to the league and three-peated again! That will never happen again and it was pure magic to watch and experience.
How the Bulls actually did a 3 peat out that East of the Knicks, Cavs, Pacers and Heat is just mind blowing wow. Every shot was contested and you had to earn your points
This era involves a lot of one on one games which is entirely obsolete now because almost players now are lethal inside and outside with great ball handling skills.
What is interesting is that bulls took 21 3PA (11 by Scottie) and that isn't too far off from 2022 lowest team which was hilariously the 2022 Chicago bulls with 28 attempts. Compare that to Game 1 of the Nuggets vs Heat NBA Finals - Nuggets took 27 attempts
Exactly. There has to be a balance. If you’re making them, great. But don’t rely so heavily on them. Don’t jack up 60 shots from behind the 3pt line, cross your fingers, and hope you make 30 of them. It’s like baseball teams relying too much on the home run.
After the 2nd Three-Peat, in 98 I said to Phil U have earned a shot to defend your title, I don't care what Krause said, U earned a chance to come back! Saddest part of The Last Dance.
Starks had moments of scoring well…but his 3pt percentage in some games made it difficult to win games….rockets should be giving starks a statue for missing so many 3s in 94 finals.
kids trying to rewrite history but all who seen know the real story/ what atreat it was to watch this brand of basketball and when they needed to hit 3's they did!!! P.S MJ the GOAT and it ain't even close
Two great teams going at it.Wanting the challenge, wanting the win.You don't see good healthy competition as much any more.Teams easily concede defeat if things don't go their way. It's much easier.Don't want to put up a fight!
I'm not ashamed to admit it and it wasn't the 1st time I cried when watching a movie or something I'm into, but it was definitely the last time I remember. The Last Dance was Riveting!
If Mike stayed with the Bulls after 98? OMG, from 96 playoffs until Jazz final shot game, he was leaning more on 3 pointers! Blazers game when he shrugs, even he can't believe it! Limitless Ability

Hi bro. I need to talk to you in private. Do you have an email please ?
This is Basketball. Not some 3pts shootaround.
Agree 100% Curry, Klay and Golden State have destroyed the game
@@arisdelis1 you're correct. They did.
Nobody wants to see hook shots lol shit boring the game more exciting now
@@arisdelis1 I agree they have made the game so unwatchable.
Oh stfu with that crap. If you think it’s easy to drain all those 3s then do it yourself or try to stop it
90's NBA was the best era
Great game! Ppl today say Jordan had no competition. Smh
So annoying, their were so many great blockers in this era and the game was much mors physical.
@@wazemo2764 100 💯👍 agree!!
@@wazemo2764he didn’t plumbers and trash
nah these guys were garbage we done with the 90’s
@jayscribe7547 Right? As if Ewing and Starks weren't serious threats in their time...smh
I miss this so much! The organs at the Garden and the Bulls vs. Knicks! This is basketball!
For those who sau mj could not have been a great 3 pt shooter in today's game is quite false. He would be a very effective 3pt shooter today ...not a Curry.....but he wouldn't have needed to be.
Looks at this beautiful basketball I got tears in my eyes
It's okay you can cry because this is real basketball
Damn that's what a playoff game should be like.. not the 20-30 point differences we see these days
Agree completely on 20-30 point differential comment. I'm actually surprised Jordan and the Bulls were able to beat this formidable Knick lineup as frequently as they did. Starks was ridiculous in this game.
There was 20-30 point differences in the 90's too.
@@Young_Dab not as prevalent as it is today
MJ with a personal 8-0 run to tie the game. Unfortunately, they lost in OT.
The real NBA
4:25 only Jeff Van Gundy would get clobbered by the ref.
My team was Chicago but NY team was so terrible good with one of the best center on the league
The Knicks and the Bulls always had tough battles in the 90s. The 1992 and 1993 matchups were the best.
@@mugabi9502 The Knicks never won a championship because they lacking of a real leadership like happen on today's date in politics and sports.

This was a good game I miss the 90s
5:58 Jordan only took a few steps and really did appear to be floating.
Knicks vs Bulls on NBC was must-watched television
NBA back then was magical.

Back when basketball played by real men
How the Bulls actually did a 3 peat out that East of the Knicks, Cavs, Pacers and Heat is just mind blowing wow. Every shot was contested and you had to earn your points
The best era of the nba ❤
Put This Game On NBA TV Hardwood Classic On TV
This era involves a lot of one on one games which is entirely obsolete now because almost players now are lethal inside and outside with great ball handling skills.
Man everything was better Back in the days! Music, movies, Sport, people was real and tough... 🙌
I miss bulls vs kincks NBA on NBC and Marv Albert I miss theses days now NBA just lame
Man. It's not even the same sport anymore.

Remember watching this one like yesterday
After the 2nd Three-Peat, in 98 I said to Phil U have earned a shot to defend your title, I don't care what Krause said, U earned a chance to come back! Saddest part of The Last Dance.
I don’t see no defense nobody even jump to attempt to block the ball no defend the leaves his feet
You need glasses
4:20 only Jeff Van Gundy would get clobbered by the ref.

Everything ball possession if this game was in 2024 I'll end up a foul
hhahahaha really brings back memories of when i used to watch nba ball..... this NY team was a beast .... just awesome
How good this NY team was to beat this unstoppable Bulls. Too bad they just didn't have what it took to win a series.
OMG!!! I actually see defenders in the paint.
4:18 did the ref poison jeff van gundy? he fell over like he was passing out, what an overreaction
MJ could shoot the three if he wanted to. His scoring was so amazing to watch
haha, oakley travelled and they called it, very next play jordan travels and they dont call it, gotta love the organic nature of the nba

That’s why you don’t let Scottie take the last shot 😂
This was space basketball, what a beautiful game, what a rivalry was Bulls - Knicks 🤩! Nba today, compared to this level of play is a disgrace.😒
Even the coaches took a beatin in the 90s
Hella clean block by the WORM…
John Starks was my boy that man did not get his do
The GOAT at work
even the highlights are nail biting
That was a dogfight! I think the main thing that made the 90s so good was the lack of spacing. Almost every play was contested.
Knicks forever
Do they still play that loud music during games?
I believe they still do at MSG
That ref who clothlined the coach should have gotten a flagrant and ejected, Knicks 1 freethrow and ball possession.

07:36 This why stats don't tell full stories...he had similar (missed) prayers against the Pacers and Jazz in 1998. Context matters.
Common men hee even receive the ball well with a doble team over him stop the bull shit already
Before that fkn prayer you talk where in the hell you leave out of the conversation the 3 pointer to tie the game he made
What? U forgot the 3 game winners in the finals vs Utah?🤣🤣
Was Horace Grant playing in this 1996 NBA match?
He was playing for Orlando then
but on the Eastern Conference Finals his Magic were swept by the Bulls via a 4-0 shutout
4:14, jajajajajaja
I'm not ashamed to admit it and it wasn't the 1st time I cried when watching a movie or something I'm into, but it was definitely the last time I remember. The Last Dance was Riveting!
The real NBA now it's just sucks
That was good basketball right there
Wow this was great basketball !!
Man New York was HYPE!!!!
The Bulls biggest rival
If Mike stayed with the Bulls after 98? OMG, from 96 playoffs until Jazz final shot game, he was leaning more on 3 pointers! Blazers game when he shrugs, even he can't believe it! Limitless Ability
Did anyone see Antony Mason sticking his tongue out and looking at Jordan hahahahahah.
I like dark humor like that
