Todays superstars are made through softness, so it just doesn't have the same value when comparing and the league defense is a joke.

All he did was move without the ball shooting catch & shoot midrange jumpers, little left left to right or right to left jabsteps, scored in the post, small little pump fakes if they bite on the fadaway or turnaround, not really shooting over the double team but shooting the ball right before the double comes and only did a stutter step hesi pull up midrange off the dribble & did a crossover if the defender bites on the hesi with very little dribbles. MJ didn’t really shoot 3s but shot them when he was open that year. Every player that wants to be on that next level should study MJ’s 97 year. MJ had such a surgical approach that year. I bet you MJ time of possession was very low that year despite his high usage, MJ just didn’t play around with the ball a lot & found a way to score right away without taking too much time on the shot clock
