We suck right now and so does the big 12 :/ I’m just thankful you’re still making content in these gloomy times for the program Couz. Also I hope you and the family are doing well since the passing of your brother🙏
What bias. I read this stuff from people on vlogs all the time, but no one takes the time to explain what they feel to be bias They just use the word all the time.
Until the Big12 beat 2-3 teams in the playoffs, the Big12 will be seen as the conference without TX and OK. That is why the 4/4/2/2/1/1 AQ was a gift from the SEC. Why the ACC and the Big12 didn't jump on this is mind-blowing. Greg Sankey will not offer that again. SEC will push for 5 AQs for them now and probably 1 for ACC and Big12.
ESPN is being ESPN. It's the same reason a G5 school moved up 3 spots after beating a G5 school with a losing record. But a school like Colorado isn't moving up with convincing wins over P4 schools. But ESPN talks every morning about Deion coaching the Dallas Cowboys. Even though there's about a zero percent chance, he won't. Colorado flipping SEC recruits haz something to do with the ESPN push to get him out of Boulder. But i wouldn't be mad. I don't want to see the Big 12 get disrespected. But if they do. I hope this is the thing that pushes the conference all the way into private equity.
The loss of UT and OU to the SEC was huge. The loss of Deion Sanders (to Fla State or Dallas) is going into next season will be huge. If BYU is the best if the Big 12 this season, that is why there is little or no respect for the conference. Their play against Kansas was horrible.
@sarahmccoy1941 Doesn't seem FSU is letting their coach go this season. And people that think Deion will coach the Dallas Cowboys clearly don't understand the fact of Jerry Jones not doing that. Y'all can buy the garbage ESPN is selling all yall want. But there's about a -20% chance of that happening. I live in Texas. It's an entertaining thought. But nobody in Texas really believes that's gonna happen. His oldest son was on a show last night, and he doesn't even believe it. And that's his son.
IMO unless the B12 has huge donors or Saudi Public Fund donors that can make up the $ advantage of the P2, B12/ACC will always be behind. I think CFP should follow the UEFA soccer model and have multiple level tournaments based on fixed slots (ie England, Spain, Germany, Spain, Italy get 4 slots into UEFA top cup tournament). Next 1 or 2 teams get into the Europa cup. Have the CFP Div 1 tournament as is now and also have a CFP Div 2 tournament featuring the next top 12 ranked teams. Have two tournaments and two champions. Sell to media as one package. Use bowl system for additional semi finals.
Time for me to chime in after halftime of the WVU game vs ucf . The answer you are looking for is hell no college football doesn’t hate us . They need to kick the playoff spot out from the big 12 . Kansas is smoking Colorado and Arizona state is stomping ovrrated byu
The perception around the country is that the Big 12 plays entertaining football, but that their best teams are just not good enough to compete against the best teams in the B1G or the SEC. It has nothing to do with hate. With Texas and OU in the SEC, there just is no major brand to speak of in the Big 12. Deion Sanders is popular with the media, but his time at Colorado will be short-lived as he will likely be the new head coach at Florida State or with the Dallas Cowboys at the end of this season.
The public's last look at the Big 12 in a championship fomat was Georgia obliterating TCU.Then Okie and Texas bailed.Big 12 has to win multiple playoff games to be taken seriously. The playoffs will soon be 16 with 4 Sec, 4 Big10 slots guaranteed.
I don't have any issues with where the B12 teams are & was ranked. BYU although undefeated looked good & lucky, but not really good to great like most top ranked teams are. Even so the committee gave them an initial ranking of 9 & then 6 before their luck ran out or finally choked, depending on how you see them. Even thought they beat SMU earlier this season, SMU has looked better than BYU overall, So I don't mind them being ranked behind them. The buffs are rolling & ranked pretty good considering the fact they're beating what looks to be mediocre teams for the most part. Unfortunately for them the B12 this season is proving to be a balanced conference full of mediocre to lower end good teams with no real dominant team(s) at the top. I personally think the Buffs are the real deal (minus their weak run game of course), and could make for an interesting team in the playoffs if they win the B12. I don't think they'll win a natty, but if they get the right matchup I think they could win a couple games in the playoffs before getting bounced by the heavyweight teams, which they themselves just aren't.

I appreciate the kind words
This new TNTxBIG12 tv deal should start to effect the CFB landscape over the next few years with more BIG12 teams and games getting exposure.
bias has existed from the beginning for the sec and big 10

They playoffs will either confirm the Bias or blow it up... But the ACC and Big12 better not go 1 and done or they will forever only get 1 team each
@@xmositoxc147I totally agree they should have taken that deal.

Did you forget about TCU beating Michigan?
BYU > SMU > Miami
At that point in the season, yes. Having watched byu the last month, no. Their offense has been on snooze.
@@elche1976 Wrong, it's supposed to be a season long snapshot. BYU has a road win over SMU, that doesn't go away.
@stevemoserify supposed to be. Not how it's actually going down with perception.

I think the Buffs are a real threat to win the conference. It would be fun to see them in the playoffs.
