Less than 1% of veterans in need of a service dog receive one each year. Together, we can be a part of the change. I invite you to watch the NY Dog Film Festival's winning short film, available on Dog Chow's TH-cam channel (th-cam.com/video/aaXoy7ncJEY/w-d-xo.html). For every view it receives through Veteran's Day, Nov 11, Dog Chow will donate $5 to the Association of Service Dog Providers for Military Veterans to help veterans in need.
This needs to be a movie so people can understand what a service dog is and does cuz when I do out to places and there's a service dog there I see or hear people ask if they can pet the dog and the owner says no and the people get mad and want to fight them I also see videos like that on IG
God Bless Service Dogs and their trainers. I was not in the service but I ALWAYS have had at least 2 dogs. Their love is everlasting !! Thank You to ALL who have served as well as all WORKING dogs.
I have 2 GSD's that were essential in my recovery from cancer and sepsis. While it was touch and go for a bit as to if I would continue on this earth, my faith, my family and my 2 wingmen never left my side. Now 3 years cancer free, I have more to be thankful for than you know. My fur missiles were the calm in the storm. Dogs are truly amazing. I'm eternally grateful for the love and companionship. Go treat your dog(s) to a special treat today. Service dog or not, thank them for all they do for you. While you're at it, tell them "The Gunny" and "Odie" said hi. 🐾🐾 -PhantomF4G
This is Shannon Walker founder of Northwest Battle buddies, Sam what an honor to have you and your team showcase Scott And Nikki! You told her story beautifully. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤
I am a combat veteran and I am currently going through training of my 2nd psychiatric service dog. 15 years ago my 1st one basically saved my life, because through him I was able to comfortably get out again. being in a wheelchair I also need my dog to be close to me. so small is better, the 1st one was an Irish Jack Russel, my 2nd is a 3 year old beagle mix adopted from a shelter or I should say he chose and adopted me.

Thank you, from a personal experience I know what a dog can do for a person. Saved my life. Her name was Bliss a black lab. I pray for you all
My service dog is a literal life saver, great video !
Dogs really are mans best friend. Great video to raise awareness on this
All veterans need service dogs and I say when anyone gets out from the arm forces should get a dog.

Wow Sam you did great on this short film. And you did a great job about showing people how important dogs are! 😊
Watching this after recently saying goodbye to one of the best black labs was tough.
Sam include this type of video also in your channel future❤
