I was definitely happy when I got back down on the ground. Now, I am not worried at all. I’m cautious about what happens in an emergency, but definitely not afraid.

Love the video you make. It keep me inspire to push forward for my (PPL). I'm currently schedule to take my written exam coming up Tuesday. I pray that i pass. I started flight training in 2001 with stopping right after i solo. And have lost all of my endorsement log book 30hr. But 24 years later I'm eager to get my certificate. Every Friday i look forward to the video you produce. If i can suggest in you getting an electric scooter to take along your flight that way you don't to walk to the places your visiting.

I still do like the two doors, and windows that open. But I will say the flight characteristics of low wings, especially in crosswinds, just seen to perform better. Russ, I got my PPL a few weeks ago and flew into KDYL for the first time today as part of exploring the area as a new pilot. I was on the downwind with my rented Cherokee when I heard a familiar voice and a call sign that ended in Charlie. It was you. I watched lots of your videos while I was training so I knew it was you. You were doing a 360 to avoid another plane about to enter the pattern. It was wonderful to hearing your voice over the radio as opposed to over TH-cam. I would have loved to meet you (and Charlie) in person but had to get back to my home airport to return the rental. Let me know if there is a way to connect sometime.
Hey Dexter! First, congratulations on getting your license! That is such a monumental accomplishment. Second, I’m glad to see that you’re actually using it. One of the things that my flight instructor said to me was, OK Russ now that you have your license, start learning, how to fly, and fly. I didn’t know what he meant by that, but definitely over the years. I have understood what he meant. Getting in the cockpit, and flying teaches you so much more about how to fly. Anyway, I would love to cross wires with you at some point.where do you fly out of? Maybe one day I can meet you and we can break. In the meantime, fly well!

Yeah, I hear you, brother! I definitely wish she could be flying with me some more as well. To be completely transparent, flying terrifies her. Even when it’s commercial, she’s just not really comfortable in an airplane. She’s flown with me a couple times just because she wanted to make me happy, but it’s not something she’s gonna do regularly unfortunately. Prayerfully overtime, she’ll get more comfortable. I can only dream of ownership for now. I recently got my ppl and it’s been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I hope to be able to join a club or get into a part ownership, because renting makes it tough to fly often. Still, it’s super cool seeing you enjoy those blessings!
Yeah, I completely understand the rental difficulty. Definitely after 2 1/2 years of renting, it just got to be more more difficult. But certainly, was able to build some time renting as well. So don’t be too discouraged. I think your strategy to join a Flight club, or find a partnership is a good one. That’s the best way to start for sure. Take care, and fly well. Yeah, the landing fee is still 10 bucks. The cool thing is they have this new area outside with this very nice food truck. It was definitely awesome. The first time I came, but that’s why I definitely had to repeat. Take care, and thank you for the support!
It depends on which region you’re in, and how big the airport is. So it’s definitely a wide range. I talk about the cost of my Hanger, and all the cost with associated with Find My Airplane in the members only section. Trust me, it’s worth getting access to it. I give specific numbers in that area. Take care!
FYI: Ocean City (26N) and Ocean County/RJ Miller (MJX) both use 122.7 and both have 24/6 runways so what you are hearing on the freq. is for both airports that are 42 nm apart. Not sure where Cape May figures into your video 🧐

So, you know how GoPro has those sticky little tabs that you can paste, and then slide the camera into? That’s what’s on the ceiling of my airplane, and actually was on the ceiling of most of the trainers I was using as well. That seems to be the cleanest and easiest way to amount the camera on the ceiling. Thank you for your support, and God bless you as well!
It felt like it was a full 45 minutes faster! I was just getting to cruise altitude when I needed to start thinking about top of the scent. It was definitely much quicker!
Do pilots make announcements taking of thrust set 80 knots approaching altitude 1000 feet before and when landing 1000 feet agl approaching visual and 750 feet per minute coming down and if going over 1000 feet per minute do a go around and make visual transition at 200 feet agl

Believe it or not, all of my training to get my license was in a Cessna 172!
Your wife is a lot more forgiving than mine. If I ever tried to fly to the beach without her, I would not hear the end of it.
