I own this same airplane. Best thing I did to gain hours for a fraction of the cost. Fun and easy to fly as well…

I'm looking into LSA for building flight time towards ATP. These seem very affordable.

So now you have me wanting to spend my annual bonus! Buy a plane and finish my training I had started back in 2004!

If you have the money to do it, go for it. Me personally I see to many crashes now to do something optional just because it’s a passion.

If it is just your annual bonus then definitely go for it! This would be close to my 40+years bonus :D

Thanks, Mojo Mike. You actually sold me on this aircraft in 2020, and I purchased a pipersport. I now have a little over 600 hours in an identical model. Thank you so much for the good advice. I have to disagree with all due respect regarding the cowling modification this is actually the first time in four years I've even heard it mentioned and yes on extended delays on at the hold Short Line the aircraft can begin to overheat however my experience in the warm California weather has been that except for the most extreme days and departure delays where it's over 100 degrees it's a VERY minor concern and I've only had it happen once I would not base my buying decision on whether or not the cowling has been modified. If the engine is overheating, it's probably so warm that you're overheating as well. Most of us don't fly in anything above 100 or 105 degrees in this airplane . Make sure the aircraft is up-to-date on all service bulletins, especially the nose landing gear, 5 year rubber, and ballistic parachute. Cheers, and thanks to you, I own one!

I’m loving this plane. I see you’re selling it now. Lord if I had the means to do it at this time, I’d take it off your hands Mike.

I've been looking at this plane and the Direct Fly Alto (also based in the Czech Republic). I think the Alto offers more overall value (you can get new models cheaper than some used SportCruisers). The SportsCruiser offers a handful of small exteas in the interior though (lever throttle, storage in the arm rest, etc.).

Pretty good looking plane, not a bad price especially with shared ownership with another. Cuts every price in half.
I inquired about WT-9 brand new and they start at 125k€, analog gauges. 11k more for glass. In today's insanity that's pretty modest for a brand new good looking semifast plane.

Great presentation, and great news it seems about new engine options! I just bought an EASA certified 2013 PS28, with 1350 hours on the hobbs. Could you tell me more about these new engine options rumors? One thing I'm very frustrated about is the slow cruise speed, would love to get a 915is in there once the engine change comes probably next year (plane is also doing PPL training / time building, it's not just for personal use). Thanks!

Flies great. Three biggest transition issues are the free castering nosewheel , the might tighter and more responsive controls and that they are very lightly loaded so you really have to be on top of your game with crosswind landings compared with a PA28. You'll also wonder about how slow you can be for landing until you practice stalls and watch the ASI drop down to 25 KIAS before you even get a first stall indication.

We need to go back to old tech, glass cockpits are way overpriced and when it goes old tech skills are all that’s left, way cheaper and way more satisfying when done right, there goal is to overprice aviation everything around owning an aircraft will eventually put the majority out of the market ❤

HOw do we get to under 100k? 2010. 285k 2024! There is nothing affordable or even close that is 'new' or even newish. I'm left with few options under 100k. Pretty much stuck with J3 cubs being one of the few, safe, reliable light sport. Rotax engines? No thanks. Good thing you have a chute. ;) I rather have an old cub that runs like a clock.
