- Women shouldn't be forced to compete against males.
But unfortunately, two high school male athletes who identify as female have won 15 women’s track championship titles that were once held by nine different girls in the state of Connecticut. Female athletes are being robbed of athletic opportunities, dreams of competing at the next level, and even potential scholarships.
Thankfully, Alanna Smith took a public stand against the harmful policies that are allowing this to happen. With the help of Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), she filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education.
Now, the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights has agreed to investigate the situation in Connecticut. The outcome of the investigation could impact young women nationwide.

The girls refusing to compete is all but a sign that they're giving up. It would encourage more and more transwomen to join the club. The eventual destination is the destruction of women's sports - it will be full of transwomen. Men's sports, however, will stay in tact. Transmen (women transitioning to men) would get demolished by bio men.

This is such a big issue for me because they’re going to start doing this on a collegiate level. I run women’s cross country and track and I can first hand tell you the fastest girl is no where near the slowest guy on the men’s team. There’s just no comparison and you can look at Serena Williams interview to confirm a lot of women who dominate there sport know that men’s sports are a whole different ball game. I feel like trans athletes should have their own category just like they do for special olympics. Hormone therapy doesn’t replace all the muscles and bone structure built for competing and I don’t think for a second a trans athlete is going to stop training to make their strength level go down

I'm a 5"8 male and with moderate, and consistent, life long sports/physical training I know for a fact that I could out preform 99.9% of biological female in any sport that requires speed, agility and strength.
We (as 13/14 yr. old boys) pinned so called professional wrestler females. They couldn't budge an inch once we had them pinned down for good. Imagine what a man in his prime (even older) with the benefits of having a fully formed body: skeletal muscles can do?

Unfair because it is something that a natural born girl cannot simply 'acquire'. We're not just talking about differences such as longer/shorter legs, motivation levels, better/worse coaching etc.

If the idea that the degree to which the variance is manifested creates an 'unfair' advantage then one must create a 'cap' to what a genetic woman is capable of doing.

If one were to take the 'transgender' element out of the equation the same variances would exist....Thus the question becomes would it still be unfair?

Since the schools themselves can do little without 'breaking the law' I think that when this situation occurs, be it in wrestling, swimming, basketball, track - or whatever, that ALL TEAM MEMBERS should show up, but simply refuse to take the floor. That would make a strong statement.
So, just to be clear, the boys are faster than the girls. Or put another way: the girls cannot compete with the boys in sports. Or when it comes to sports, boys outperform girls. Hopefully we won't have to revisit this concept anytime in the near future and we can get back to cherishing the wonderful things that make men and women different/interesting.

It's not just a physical difference, but a mental difference, too. Men's brains operate very differently from women's brains. We want different things in life, and of each other. We have different drives, motivations, and aspirations. The mind is what tells the body to go ham - the body simply obeys. The mind pushes the body to it's limit, often times even beyond. The body cannot push the mind to do the same - it's a one-way street. Ask any athlete and they will tell you that the mind is just as, if not more, important in sports than the body is.

Heck I have been watching videos of a woman ultra marathoner who beats grown men in 50-100 mile races through the mountains. It is definately the male hormones and physiological effects male bodies have that lets these boys beat girls.

I read that article, a while back. It was just supposed to be a "for fun" game. But the women started playing seriously because they didn't want to be beaten by teenagers. Unfortunately, the boys, figuratively speaking, bent them over a barrel and took them to town.

I ran in track in Jr & Sr High School back in the 70’s. Guys back then would never even think about running against girls/young women back then! There is nothing fair about biological males competing against females,. No matter how long they've been on female hormones, they still retain advantages like height, hand size, muscle twitch reaction time, and others.
