  • How does physical specifications and price affect real world performance of binoculars?
    In Part #1 Nathan and I conduct field testing of six different models under demanding conditions of fading light and provide our thoughts and experiences.
    Check Part #2 for a summary of our findings.We hope this is a valuable video to assist the end user in their selection of what fits their own requirements and budget.

    Good vid lads. Some things I find that is helpful is the colour contrast between brands, some are more yellow, others green. Also the biggest thing I've noticed going from mid range to top is the ocular alignment, which eliminates eye strain/headache. When your using them as much as you should be, this is priceless.

      Dead on. Binos should be a pleasure to use, not a headache.

      Thanks Tony for the compliment. Certainly is lot of organisation and time to be fair on all the glass present.

    Part two will be out later this evening. Nathan and I discuss what we saw whilst filming this video and give some thoughts and suggestions on how best to find what suits you.

    Awesome what reasons did you choose the 9x45 B2’s vs the 11x45’s? Thanks!

    I have the Swaro SLC 15x56 and they are amazing! Are you saying the Mavens are better? Interesting.

    • @huntingarete9214
      @huntingarete9214  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max, we didn't have a set of the Swaro SLC 15X56 to directly compare performance. But the Mavens were certainly right up there amongst the top Euro glass.
      As Nathan and I say in the second video there are a few other factors to consider than just the performance of the glass.
      And what I see through one model may not be what you see. When I select new optics I will drill down to the top three or four models that suit my needs and assess where I can the differences, what I like and don't like. Then make a decision.
      Thanks for the interest.

      Anyway you have some great binos and you should be proud of them. Btw wich ones do you prefer to use when sky gazing at night?
