Hey, thanks for chiming in, but no, they’re made in Japan. mavenbuilt.com/pages/faq#:~:text=Where%20are%20they%20built%3F,and%20test%20for%20quality%20assurance.
@@Rokslideactually they’re assembled in the US with parts sourced from Japan. The C series is assembled in the Philippines with parts sourced from Japan and China.
Edge to edge sharpness of the Swaros is insane. I just got mine and the amount of details that you can see at any distance compared to almost all other binos is ridiculous. Obviously it's not going to be ideal for low light conditions, but it can still hang with mid range binos in 10x (Leica Trinovid). I mainly use them handheld and not on a tripod and honestly, the shaking is manageable. That being said, I use them for archery and don't usually have to look through them for longer periods, which is definitely not great without a solid rest. Following moving objects is near impossible and nauseating (duh). For my purposes, this is the best pair of binos in the world. Maybe the EL 12x50 would've been a little less bulky and heavy, but man I really love the 15x and I am willing to put up with the weight and size for that. At 18m, I could easily tell if my arrow was inside the line or just touching it, which I would not have thought before buying these. I can't wait for outdoor season to test them at longer distances (field archery) where they're really going to shine.
we would too! We asked Leupold's marketing company to send us some loaners for testing but the declined. We'll watch for an opportunity with the Bushnells
I have a Swarovski SLC 10x42 since tree years and I m very happy, edge 12-15% fuzzy but just a litt,e that iis not easy to percept, sharpness and resolution unbeliweble better than ncked eyes! Swatching the duck on the river or an hawk flyig in front of you and it so shining and detaks images, My SLyc yi pay here in Switzerland only 1370 swiss franks.
Jay Mann I don’t have access to any of the Meoptas. But we reviewed them a couple years ago on Rokslide. Just search our optics reviews on our homepage. Matt Cashell did the review and really liked those Bino’s
Didnt realize we were both red/green deficient Robby. Have you looked at the glasses that help us see colors? I have a pair its fairly significant but it varies from person to person and the level of color-blindness.
This has got to be the most honest straight forward review I have ever seen with bins.
Super job, Rokslide, thumbs up
Thank you BakerOne! I'm not an optics expert, but I do know what my eyes see--robby denning
from what I hear the Maven makes one hell of an astronomy binocular under dark skies.
Thanks for the review, very detailed and much appreciated
sure thing man, thanks for tuning in.
I’ve had the swaros for some time and the durability of the European brands in my opinion are top shelf.
For me the the Swarovski is a better quality in the build. Materials used and ability to handle the elements. You get what you pay for. Great review.
Old thread for sure , but man you did a great job on this test. I wish we could of seen through both though. But you did a great job...!!!
Hey, thank you for watching it and for chiming in. I really appreciate it.-robby denning
Thanks for the review, I was looking to buy and was shocked to find out the Mavens are made in CHINA.

Appreciate the review. I’m looking at the Maven or Meopta.

Thanks for sharing your experience., Swaro’s hard to beat
I am not sure if my eyes prefer Swarovski or what. But I tested mavens in Harrisburg show and they had noticeable chromatic aberrations.
Jay Mann Thanks for chiming in. I’m colorblind so I didn’t notice any CA. But as I said in the review, I’m not sure I could see it unless it was bad
Thank you great review, love the shirt
🙏✝️
Very helpful thank you
Thank you for the review.
Would like to see:
Maven B5 15X vs
leupold santiam 15X vs
Bushnell Forge 15X
we would too! We asked Leupold's marketing company to send us some loaners for testing but the declined. We'll watch for an opportunity with the Bushnells
Add a Japan made Tract Toric 15x to this comparison.
Still waiting on a review with a comparison to another binocular like the Swarovski 15x56, on the new Vortex Razor uhd 18x56 Binoculars!
Pete, we reached out to Vortex and they are not responding. If they do, we'll do a comparison. Thanks for your interest
Thanks....good review. 👍
great review.
Thank you very much.

Will you be doing a Test on the new Vortex Razor UHD 18x56 vs Swarovski 15x56 within the month? Thank You!
We reached out to Vortex for a loaner set of the UHD. If they send them, we’ll test them.
I would love to see that to
I wonder how Steiner 15 56 HX might stack up to these
I have B5’s and the Steiner HX. The Mavens are a little better.
@@brandondeckert9838 thank you
Can you compare Meopta with Swarovski and mavens?
