It's 2022 and I just received a pair of Maven B.6 in 10x50. Absolutely amazing. Just about the size of 8x42 and almost the weight. So well built and clean. No observable chromatic aberration and wall to wall sharpness. My eyes are close together so they're almost not narrow enough. But compressed all the way the actually fit perfectly. Zero buyer's remorse since this quality comes at a fraction of the top dogs in the game.
Hi from Montreal, Not an hunter just a Guy who like to watch nature: just make a crazy move: I Bought from Maven the B1 675$ in special (900$)....... a big guess..... hope I will like them a lot!.. Eye Relief is 18.5mm what I need with Glasses and can operate at -13F with is important for me in Montreal...... Cheers.
Are you going to review the binoculars? You have had them for a while and should have use them quite a bit at this point. What are your honest thoughts?
I don't want to misrepresent them, Kevin. They aren't US made (website states, "Japanese and Chinese components assembled in the Philippines") the thing that I like is that they ARE a Wyoming company, and you can walk in and actually talk to an owner like I did with Brendon. I'll let you know about the quality of those components as soon as I have a chance to use them.
@@darrengraham5758 You can check at the bottom of each model bins on the Maven web site. It will tell you components and where assembled. My Maven B.2 11X45 are Japanese components and assembled in San Diego, CA These are very good binoculars and people who have known, Swarovski, Zeiss and Leica should check these out.
The only downside to their business motto is they’re purely local only when it comes to purchasing. I’m sure they’re great but it’s like gambling on a horse that never won a race and you gotta wait for reviews before you jump in.

Bought an rs3 for a MarkV Backcountry Ti. Showing some love for Wyoming. Cheers from Saskatchewan 🇨🇦

Kevin Wilmes - made in Japan to be correct.
I believe they are made in USA using Japanese glass or that’s what I thought I may be wrong
