You should really be using a nylon spudger tool to pry the backing apart. Along with anti static tweezers to unplug connectors. Which should be done after you've discharged any static electricity you have by touching a grounded metal. A butter knife and fingernails are not really ideal on computer equipment. Especially if you are doing this as "PC repair"and charging someone. Also, the WiFi radio is not soldered in place. It's using snap on metal connectors.
@videogameobsession I'd like to see you pull the wireless card out... the antennas can be disconnected, but not the card. I've been doing this over 17 years now. I've tried those spudgers and stuff. Usually if I can't pop it open with my fingernails, those tools will just break. It's not a butter knife. It's a super thin stainless steel pharmacy spatula. I always touch something that would usually shock me when I'm charged up before touching the internals of computers. I've never had an issue. Do you do this for a living as well, or are you just saying based on what you've been told and seen?
I'm retired now, bu I used to run a custom PC building company, where I built custom PCs, along with repair services. My wife has also been repairing PCs since the mid 90s. I wasn't trying to attack you personally, but I'd just like to see DIY videos take more precautions to help keep people from shorting something out, etc. Sorry to have been so blunt with my comment.
@videogameobsession I don't think it's at important as people think it is. If it was that big of an issue, you'd think CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard manufacturers would include one. A few dollars to save a few hundred to thousands. Also, a lot of people don't read instructions and don't know the grounding strap needs to be connected to a ground. Lol
It can be a real problem for people with carpeting and low humidity, especially during the colder months. Our old house was like that. My brothers and I would literally scuff our socked feet on the carpeted floor a few times, then sneak up and shock each other. :P Some were pretty "jolting". You could even see the spark.

I’m a novice so please forgive my lack of understanding here. I just bought a book 3 360 and it has a microSD slot on the side. Wouldn’t it be just easier to buy an SD card and leave it in there. That way you can utilise the existing SSD already inside plus the new SD card ?? Just a thought what do you all think. Thanks.
SD cards are almost not viable long term storage devices. They generally built as a transport device. I wouldn’t trust any MicroSD for data that isn’t backed up elsewhere or is coming to the main drive from a camera device.
