    A trojan stealer (Rat or something) it seems. Had this happen on discord too
    Something that helps (not always, but sometimes at least) is to check for typos in the emails/messages. Is the offer too good to be true? Do they call you by your name or "Dear customer"? Does the email seem legit? If you google their company, is it real?
    When in doubt, reach out to the company if it exists. NOT by links, but through contact emails on their official website you find in google searches

    Would like to understand the mechanics of this. A link alone should not be able to do anything like that. Maybe copy the link and paste it into a text editor and see if it has a shrouded destination or a long string of characters at the end.
    Clearly, the lesson is to trust nothing.
