this is so epic. SOAD is rock solid. A 4 piece band that has not 1 but 2 members that can scream and sing legit. Not to mention the instrument ability. If i had a time machine, this show would be top 5 for sure.
38:43 “We’re heading toward a self-proclaimed environment of injustice, disease and death. Be aware.” - Serj Tankian With everything going on in 2020, that really spoke to me when he said that. This band could write an entire album about 2020. It’s too bad they can’t settle their differences.
I saw them for my first time in October 19 2021 in Oakland arena, California and I got the chance to see them again for my second time last Saturday night August 19 2024. In the San Francisco Golden Gate Park along with a 50 thousand people! I can’t fucking describe how blessed I feel for be able to experience those two amazing concerts during my lifetime. He’s by far the best musician on that stage. Without him this would be so ridiculously messy.
@@sharinglungs3226 to be fair without any of them there'd be a lot missing
Never saw them live, but I heard they aren't so put together with live performances. And that's okay..
@@CarsCatAliens I saw them 02.04.22 so less than a month ago in Los Angeles and they sounded awesome! Put together, Sergs' voice was good after Covid, the guys were all playing together really well. Sometimes when you go to a live show and a band sounds nothing like a studio album it's a let down but it was a good show except for some of the other trashy bands playing with their trashy fans taking seats they didn't pay for.
God, I miss old and classic SOAD! The intro is pure genius!

Actually it's a song from scars of brodway (band of Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan)

Quacky, wacky, and funny! I miss the old SOAD but at least they are still together. Looking forward to their live performance in October of this year.
3:44 I love when he acknowledges both sides of the audience , beautiful sound and art they create
The audio quality of this show is better than 60% of live recordings today, thank you Dutch audio engineer

When Serj's voice sounds exactly like the record, AMAZING!!!
this is so epic. SOAD is rock solid. A 4 piece band that has not 1 but 2 members that can scream and sing legit. Not to mention the instrument ability. If i had a time machine, this show would be top 5 for sure.

With everything going on in 2020, that really spoke to me when he said that. This band could write an entire album about 2020. It’s too bad they can’t settle their differences.
Agreed. This political atmosphere is ripe for material for them, but like you said, they'll never set aside thier differences. One can hope though.
