You might want to look into esoteric programming languages, which is pretty much what you were going for
They made a video on Piet once
I can't wait for D-- to become the next industry defining language. Modern day C.
What a missed opportunity. You should have called it SpooderLang
how old are you 😭youre like that 4 yo cousin with 19 years of work experience at nasa that every asian kid gets compared to
fr
FR
fr bruh keep it up tho
What experience? He used ChatGPT.
Great job! And good editing too! What you really did wasn't exactly a programming language, but it's a step in the right direction. You might want to learn about lexers in the future, if you want to expand on that project
let's hope he doesn't discover Javascript
@@kvsbcsljv LOL
I actually made a language and it gets hella complex here are the steps:
(Use C for fastest performance and you need non dynamic language like C anyways, implement a sweep GC or a generational one)
Source Code -> Lexer (tokens) -> Compiler (Bytecode, set of instructions made by you) -> VML (stack based or register based, makes the calls and runs bytecode) -> Free All, exit
Some day you'll look back on this video and may cringe but don't
Be proud of your progress future you
Keep this up and don't let anyone dissuade you
i know someone will be able to make a complicated game in this language
this guy is gonna be the next big thing
True
Hey, that's a really great job!
I find it really cool that you already so in-depth with IT at your age!
Keep up the good work! You have a bright future :)
Also, nice music choices! I love it, haha!
i must say i am very impressed! great idea, edetong and execution! keep it up❤
scratch is actually way better for interpreters, because it creates far more boilerplate and overhead
I hope this is a joke

Very happy I got recommended this video. Keep up the great work mate! Good luck with your further endeavors!
i really didn't expect a kid but that's really impressive .
dang dude very impressive, both the fact that you knew the basics of coding and also have made a quality video. Good job 👍👍
The sass, the editing, the avatar, the sound effects, the titles... I could go on and on! How old are you? Great work, I love it!
An esolang for video games? Perfect! :)
You are doing really good in IT for your age.
Amazing Job, and realy good editing!
I'v never done this and this looks really interesting!
btw i love the sushi command xd
The desktop is literally my desktop when i was younger, then i learned you can disable icons lol
You lack taste.
Lol
This would actually be much closer to an assembly-like language instead of a 'typical' programming language.
It is still a good exercise tho!
bro will skip the school, create a company named "pineapple" and start to sell smartphones with in a 5-10 years
Actually making a game using PhotoShop is the best
you would love the Chef programming language
Wow, i like your work, this is best language ever, keep doing!
btw what's your age?
i'm simply watching while knowing how to make a simple programming language
I'd say there's potential.
low energy? trust me you have way more energy than i ever did
the most high level language there is
"Coding a compiler" when??
Im currently developing a programming language in python and this is a start.
Try harder and you can make something more amazing and elegant!
I'd rather make it more stupid. It's more entertaining for both me and the viewers 😂
as a fellow language model
Lol nice vid subbed
This is so cooll!! i like itt
very cool 👍
Is that a spud with an eye?😂😂😂
next make d-dull
nice!
h o w o l d a r e y o u ? ? ?
I feel like you should of called it Db (D flat), it's a music joke :P
wow youre a better editor than me
This dude has roblox studio but not the roblox launcher what the heck.
I'm in it for the coding 😂
you sound like a singular m&m
good video, great editing, but your language is still better than Java.
did it cost money to make this video?
Finally anither child dev 😅
Huh, you're quite a smart young guy. Even tho I'm 12 it's kinda impressive to see you making a programming language
fr (i'm 11)
you leaked your name at 0:55 lmao
You saw nothing...
fuc-
bro is funny i subbed
codebullet 2.0
are you amogus?
Sus
what are you 11?
Why does it matter?
@@Personofvideo because the mountains dont give back what they take
It is called a programming language, not a coding language (duh)
what you've done in this video can be described as an unintuitive way to call some Python callbacks
HOWEVER I appreciate your interest in programming languages, and if you are interested in what actually happens under the hood, I'd recommend you to Google about what a compiled language is and what an interpreted (still compiled but JIT compiled) language is. I'm not saying you should outdo yourself and write a full-fledged programming language with all the optimizations, but you should learn at least what a lexer is.
Bro he is literally a child
@@XXWildWolf hence my feedback
😂Fr the first thing I thought
What do you mean by "interpreted (still compiled, but JIT compiled)"?
"A programming language is a system of notation for writing computer programs." (from wikipedia). he clearly defined syntax (how to write it) and semantics (what it means) and his formal language is turing complete. i dont see how it is not a programming language. the implementation is not relevant here. Of course there is a lot more what you can learn about but he did it correct and you should stop acting like a smart ass and instead check if you yourself are correct.
That's a "programming language" interpretated like JS but that's not how to do a programming language, that's literally bind python functions on new words I did it when I was 11 and was an editor where could create your language and save it and utilize it when you wanna, was all on js and was useless as that, sorry
It has actual control-flow, it's not just binding functions. I'm not sure if that is Turing complete, though.
