    Im not crazy about the finished table but I’m SO impressed that you had so many failures and just kept at it... I’ve quit projects for way less... you have really made me reflect on projects I’ve given up on, I feel inspired to not give up the next time! Great video, probably my favorite on your channel!

    As a total newbie at working with epoxy, it’s sooooo freakin awesome to see you show your mess-ups so I can feel a tad better about myself!! 😂 I have a long way to go, but at least the process and practice is fun! Thanks for keeping it real!

    When using that much epoxy/resin, you need to do it in stages. Let the first pour mostly harden. While it is still chemically active, pour the next stage. That way the heat is minimized and you can avoid the problem at the beginning. It clearly takes longer, but it comes out looking clean.

      This. The heat of the chemical reaction of the epoxy bowed your plexi outwards and caused those leaks between the clamps/screws you had used to hold the front panel together.

      One thing I’ve learned, never rush a project. Especially anything to do with liquids.

      Yeah this is like Epoxy 101, says it on every brand of it. Even the high end stuff you really should only do 1-2 inches at a time max and or thinner if you're going crazy waterfalls.

    Love how this turned out, and the journey was interesting! Project suggestion if you are ever doing something non-commissioned: live edge river wardrobe doors. I think it would make an amazing piece in a room, built in or free standing (and people rarely build wardrobes on TH-cam, it feels lacking)

    Cool table. Challenge for ya..... make a tensigrity table, but very large, actually usable, maybe out of 4x4s, as most people can't weld. Challenge #2: a tensigrity patio chair

    Awesome vid, I am a beginner who has done small things like ashtrays, trinket boxes etc but I have always had my sights on doing something bigger like tables and this vid inspired me even more with the imagination of doing something like that is rare and awesome....yes do keep those videos coming, I need to try and start doing bigger things myself. Thank you for that inspiration, mistakes are always made but you have managed to carry on and make something wonderful.

    That mold release spray is a waste of time, I use any kind of automotive wax paste and wipe the whole form down 👍🏽 never had melamine stick.

    I have a "river" banks are rocks going thru 1/4 of my living room from round penny tiles. Looks like it has depth and movent.... Had to come up with something wasn't about to bust up all the tile that was laid.... Was doing a hopscotch pattern with two different "clearance cheap" tiles and grout line was growing latter realized the tiles were more like 4-5 different sizes not two lmfao.... None the less I actually love how it played out in the end! Very different one of a kind I got!!!
