  • Watch me build a HUGE 60L Live Edge River Table! Early in the summer I was approached by Westminster college to do a custom conference table for their new Entrepreneurship Center. I jumped at the bit to be involved with developing young entrepreneurs, and after some pitching, we got the school to sign off on a killer Live Edge River Table design. Featuring Walnut and some awesome Deep Blue Sea Epoxy, this piece turned out sick!

I am in the middle of build just like this. The river will be jet black and almost 2 feet wide. Final dimensions will be 5' x 10'. I was thinking I would have to let in a 1/4" steel plate in a couple places. After seeing this though....my luck it would fold up like a hospital bed as soon as I pick it up. Wish me luck.

I like how you turn your whole shop into a spray booth you have to do what you got to do in hard times. I think I just subscribed.

Hey John NICE job! Just a suggestion When moving the large tables. I made a large dolly with a frame on both sides of the dolly to support the table. They are a triangle shape with room for padding to protect the furniture. Make a couple of these for yourself, it may help with moving such large items. I know how much work you put into these awesome pieces, would hate to see them get damaged. Just an idea. Keep up the great job.

Can we just as a collective call this the last river table video, this is pretty epic but damn... i mean.. lets stop pouring epoxy on stuff, in stuff, around stuff, through stuff, over stuff.

What you do can in no way be called Skillful! Anybody can butcher wood and fix it with epoxy.

Agreed. That would didn’t grow a hundred years to get slathered in epoxy. Almost as bad as vinyl siding.
