Last Thrice show ever played in CT was amazing, he even did a huge punk spin during T&C. Dustin is one of the best lyricists to make music with one of the richest voices. I remember the first time I heard Thrice sophmore year almost 13 years ago and there hasn't been a song they've written or a cover they've done that I haven't loved with all my heart.
Probably because he (was) in a proper band for almost 15 years. He had done solo/side stuff in between recording and touring. Now that they have broken up ( Thrice ) he is writing more material for another album thats coming out next year sometime.....
According to Thrice's Wikipedia site, Dustin quoted this in Spring 2012: "Thrice is not breaking up." It also mentioned they're "taking a break from being a full-time band." Their website also confirms that it is a hiatus and that they haven't broken up for good. Please refrain from giving me heart attacks in the future. I damn near shit my pants.
a great cover, but NOTHING beats the original, this song sounds better with harmonizing vocals, it gives it some umff and welly, but as a solo he did great!
They haven't "broken up" per-say. Two of the band members had family pass away and wanted to be closer to their families instead of touring. But yes, they are done as a band.
Jeremy Pearcey - Sooooo, how you digging "To Be Everywhere is to be Nowhere?", 😉.. I'd say it's probably their best album- Thrice has aged astoundingly well for musician this day & age.. ☺️; I have only been recently introduced (even though I lived in LA, & they're from Irvine).. Though I believe in divine timing- I am still astounded (while rather disappointed, as well..) that I never came across them playing live anywhere while living down there, what with all the shows I went to. Oh well.. thankfully, they most certainly aren't done as a band, 😏..
Why do people hoot ad holler during a performance? It's annoying, clearly they love the music otherwise they wouldn't be there so shuddup and enjoy the show.
