I love this so much. This acoustic version is wonderful on so many levels, listening to Dustin's voice and its range and versatility is heavenly. The bridge gives me goosebumps everytime!
Wow...that was cool...his voice is so powerful yet effortless...its amazing watching him grow from Identity Crisis to now and the same can be said for the whole band...it was hard for me to accept there change from Artist in the Ambulance...but now I'm glad they did :)
my apartment could have been on fire and i wouldn't have known it. this guy just demands your attention. absolute genius. favorite band ever, by far....not even close
i don't think you recognized them by ear either :P those chords you suggest aren't even close. the chords listed below are based off of standard tuning with a capo on 2. the verse switches between Em, C then he switches to D, Cdim7, Em, A7, C, B7, Em. then start over or rinSe and repeat, as you say
I came to TH-cam just now to listen to song to learn it on guitar and TH-cam recommended me this. I ended up learning this song instead. :) Thrice, you rule.
It's not enough to just say nice song. Because if you knew Thrice at all you would know that the band is amazing, the members are great, all there albums are flawless and Dustin's voice is that of an angel. So yeah the music is great, but they are much more amazing than the sounds they create.
yeah you're right it could depend on the capo and tuning...but as i stated, it's in standard tuning with the capo at 2 and you're still missing the diminished chord...
That song is still so good and so actual! If you want to listen to an awesome cover of this song : soundcloud.com/hugo-goyet/cover-thrice-beggars-acoustic Enjoy :)
Standard tuning. Capo 2nd fret Em, C, Em, C, D, A6, E, A7, C, B7? (I cant remember the name of that B chord) Last verse goes from the weird B to Am, C, B7(?) Em
No one answered?! Put the Capo @ 2nd fret... play these shapes Em C, Em C, D A6, Em A7, C B7 (? I forgot the name) This progression repeats through the song. The last verse goes from the B (chord I forgot the name of) to Am, C, B (?) ends on Em
@@runningriver7624 WTF, I was born was disease that left tumors all over the inside and outside of my body, obviously you know shit about epidemiology.
I have come back to this recording for 13 years. One of the most underrated Thrice acoustic recordings.
got "everything's grace after all" tattood on my arm. This song really means a lot to me and is a reminder to keep everything in perspective.
Still gives me the feels! Powerful song!
Dustin developed into an awesome vocalist over the years.
Awesome band, awesome song, awesome rendition. So very good.
I love this so much. This acoustic version is wonderful on so many levels, listening to Dustin's voice and its range and versatility is heavenly. The bridge gives me goosebumps everytime!

Thrice are so much more than just a band
So beautiful.
The thing about his voice, is that it gets you into the mood of the song. Why can't they get back together? :o(
#Thrice2015 They are... :)
+John-Marc Stanley they never split just got other things on
It was just a hiatus
I love you pure talent
@PrankCallOlogist He can put way too much emotion in any song he plays to be labeled a robot. He's a man for sure, and a freaking genius at that!
Foda!!! Thrice é uma excelente banda

Best shit ever

Anyone know what tuning he's playing in, and the chord progression?
Standard tuning. Capo 2nd fret
Em, C, Em, C, D, A6, E, A7, C, B7? (I cant remember the name of that B chord)
Last verse goes from the weird B to Am, C, B7(?) Em
I don't know everybody in the lobby
Can someone give me the chord progression?
6 years later?
No one answered?! Put the
Capo @ 2nd fret... play these shapes
Em C, Em C, D A6, Em A7, C B7 (? I forgot the name)
This progression repeats through the song.
The last verse goes from the B (chord I forgot the name of) to Am, C, B (?) ends on Em

The thought that life itself is a gift counters all arguments. It doesn't matter how bad it is. Existence itself isn't to be taken for granted.
