Thank you so much for this! I struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder and, among other struggles, I deal with extremely low self esteem and insecurity. One surprising thing that has helped me significantly has been simply showing up for myself - waking up at the time that I said I was going to, going to the gym when I said I was going to, eating healthy. The little rituals and habits really do make a huge difference!

    1) Do not chase people who don't associate or love you.
    2) How you show up for yourself
•What you think about yourself ?
•What you're saying to yourself in general ?
    3) Let go of the opinions of others.
Why he did not wanna be with you
    your father, mother or boss?
4)What is your daily ritual ?
    • See if your actions align with the vision of the person you wanna be.

The hard thing is that the people who do want to hang out with me aren’t as fun to be around and I don’t connect with them as much. I was given the advice and had somewhat of an experience and expect to have more; that more whole people, sometimes less traumatized people seem boring at first because they don't have the intensity that we are used to being around. You may find that those people that feel boring at first, end up being very deep stable loving people with whom you can have the type of connection that you haven't experienced before.it's hard to imagine, but it may just be an experience that's new for some of us. Explore a little… I don't think we should have friends that are boring, but maybe the dynamic connections were looking for lie under a boring surface! Lol

Good advice and funny! I'm a 26 year old man who has struggled with self-esteem his whole life. But it has become more pronounced over the past year since starting my current job. I've been struggling with severe imposter syndrome for the past year because I am almost a licensed engineer and people seem to think I know more than I really do. I'm pretty honest about what I do and don't know. But I feel the biggest reason for my self-esteem issues is how much I internalize everything. I don't have the energy for this shit, yet I cannot seem to stop myself wtf

Thank you for this video. I am currently going through the biggest heartbreak of my life, being my boyfriend breaking up with me, and finding out a month later that I have an autoimmune disease. It’s been a terrible 2 months of my life but am now learning to detach from the idea that I’ve made in my mind about my ex and the life we could’ve made together. I’m now focusing on treating my disease and focusing more on restoring the energy I’ve lost trying to fight for the love that was supposed to have ended a few years back. It’s difficult but I’ll get through this. I am proud of myself ❤

It's so underrated, and the the western world has overlooked the importance of femininity, often forgetting that it is just as crucial, if not more so, than masculinity. Alot of this applies to men to I am a guy. This was geared towards women but it helped me with a breakup and facing the rejection, asking for an explanation of why I was cheated on and closure which I was denied but I have to just let go as it was not for me. Thanks

This applies to friendships as well. It it really hard to let go of a friendships that are unhealthy. And i always got anxiety wondering why they are not responding, overanalizing if i did something wrong. I must learn to accept it and move the focus back to my life. If people reject you, you have to stop chasing them. I was so afraid of losing friends, that i accepted almost everything. Now i realise i have to let go of people that don't contribute to my wellbeing so i can make room for something better.

You give out so much value. TYSM Margarita.
My notes for Build incredibly strong self-esteem
    1. Do not chase or force those who do not want you, Do not associate with those who do not love you
    2. Let go of opinions of why someone did not want to be with you. (You were meant for other things and better things that bring out the best you).
    3. What's your daily ritual? What do you eat? How do you take care of your body?
4 Make sure your actions line up to the person you want to be (you are the maker and manufacturer of yourself)
    5. Always show up for yourself and things that are important to you.

9:46 love Gabor Maté. Another thing about having autoimmune diseases is attachment style. Adam Lane Smith explains it as best. It is because of not having developed receptivity of biochemical oxytocin (mostly for women). Thus person is actually all the time in chronic stress. I totally get this... your point of view is absolutely right. I had my parents when I was a kid; they divorced when I was 12. However my dad had other priorities (anything other than being home and spending time with his family & when he was home he was drinking) so I have resentment toward the people and the places where he would spend his time. I now chance men who are unavailable or selfish.
On the flipside, my material grandfather stepped up to raise me, and I try to find men who have the same character as him.

I’m getting really nervous listening to your videos. They’re teaching me self respect and it seems I may have to make some very bold moves in my life. I’ve been with my partner for 30 years - im not sure he loves me. At the beginning I did everything wrong. All the things you say not to do that you will regret - I did those and now I’m regretting it. I don’t know if I want to end this and try for bettering the rest of my life as it’s such an upheaval and I’m not young any longer. I’m learning but I’m at a crossroads I feel.

I’m a man who recently decided to stop chasing my fresh breakup. It’s not easy accepting that someone doesn’t love you the way they once did. And even harder knowing if they showed up again, the trust won’t be the same again.
