Dunno why the narrator said the CPR “wasn’t working” and that he needed a defib, it’s not that the CPR wasn’t working, it’s that the defib is always gonna be called, so it’s part of the process. His CPR was in fact working.

There is nothing this ER doctor did that any other player on that team couldn't have done. That's not to speak bad of this doctor, but it is to encourage EVERYBODY to LEARN CPR! Part of learning CPR is also learning how to use an AED. There were 20 other guys there who could've done the same thing. Nice work to this doctor and use it as inspiration to learn how to save a life.
Your an idiot. The doctor reacted instantly knowing exactly what to do. Normal civilians would panic and think he just fainted. He knew to get a defibrillator and gave him CPR until medics arrived. This doctor is a life savor, something your to stupid to understand. Doctors have a calmness about them and know when something is wrong.
Would they have known to call for the defibrillator at the right moment and how to use it as quickly as an ER doctor? Perhaps but I’m gonna say having an expert there certainly increased his chances of survival even more!
I wish my grandfather had this kind of help when he had his heart attack; he'd still be with us. It happened in 1961, and he'd be 142 years old now, but he'd still be with us.

I really do believe that, ideally, everyone should be trained in CPR. Schools, workplaces and colleges should teach it.
Totally agree. It doesn't even take that long to learn. A couple high school periods and you have invaluable, life saving, knowledge.

My dad passed of a heart attack on July 14th 2020. He was 62 so a little bit older than yours. I hope time has helped you heal
