I found your channel andi am saying oh wow
I have made a home made vice to scrap the coppper out of electric motors yep there round like pipe and while working these round things they do move a lot and your idea puts a brilliance to work not that I did not have an idea all ready didn't have that on thing to putting it together my idea was like a conventional vice yours took out a lot of the complications of moving parts and indeed looks very very strong and simple compared to my idea

Today I needed this to cut some .75" solid rod and I only had some C Clamps. I need a vice or 2 but only after I build the welding table.

Yeah Definitely a vise. One can do so much with it. You can find one fairly cheap.
