Swarovski customer service is fantastic. Broke an eye cup on an old pair of SLC's and they sent me new ones no questions asked. Actually no questions asked, as soon as i told them what i did they immediatly asked for my address and said they would be on the way within a day.
I own EL 10x42 with field pro, and I don't intend changing them. Sure, more field of view on the NL Pures, marginally better light transmission, but the EL optics are already razor sharp to the edges with almost zero chromatic aberrations, and beautifully natural colour rendering. I don't see the point in spending $800 more for the differences. Like always, a new product is ludicrously more expensive and given ELs have seen a price drop as a result (especially as Zeiss Victory SFs and Leica Noctivids have not), then the ELs represent amazing value for money, relatively speaking, and so are a no brainer money wise. The only thing I am annoyed about is how the introduction of the NL Pures have destroyed the resell price of my ELs by a good chunk if I ever made such a decision! 😄
There's always going to be a sacrifice in optical quality with a rangefinder bino, but probably only significant for an optics aficionado. The convenience is awesome. But for me personally, if I were spending that much I would want to maximize optical performance. To each their own, glad they make both!
Why don't a lot of hunting channels talk about the leica noctivids? Is it purely down to the field of view not being adequate enough for hunting? Leica has the best colour contrast and also light transmission of 92%.
Which Swarovski (including the 10x56 SLC models) is best for very low light conditions? Most deer come out 25 minutes after sunset and I want best for low light conditions. Is the NL great for low light?
Hey Maurice, thanks for reaching out. Please shoot our expert Optics Manager, Cody Nelson, an email at optics@gohunt.com He'll hook you up by providing excellent recommendations and answering any questions you may have. Best of luck this season!!
@Cody and Brady, I am in the market for a binoculars and a range finder. I like the NL Pure but I also need a rangefinder. Should I buy the NL Pure and maybe a dedicated range finder like a Vortex? Or should I buy the EL Range and call it a day? Thank you for your help in advance.
Hi Cody, noticed you never mentioned the ballistic part of the el ta’s, Does the Ballistics work good meaning can I input my info and it tell me what to dial to?
Question! I need prescription glasses. I don't see a need to wear them when using my Kowa Genesis bio's because I just adjust until I see a clear image. I tried moving the eyecups in and using my glasses and comparing with eyecups out and no glasses and saw no difference after refocusing. Am I mistaken? I find wearing glasses and using bio's uncomfortable and too much light gets behind the ocular.
Is the 12 power a better choice for someone who does not want a 10 and a 15? Could you get away with a 12 and a spotting scope for most western type situations?
I run 12x42 pure, wife runs 8x32 and just ordered 10x32 for son. We added a btx 65. With good light btx is great out to 5-7 miles, it sucks with low light and is too much power for anything under 1 mile. The 12s are amazing, at low light the elk pop out even out to 2-3 miles, while the Btx struggled at the same low light. Btx 115 is probably the solution, but I am not packing that up a mountain everyday. 12s and a tripod is all you need, but we hunt as a family so we can cover all bases, no tripod, 8x32 is the way to go. Spotting scope, great for around the truck, and for calling shots at the range.
So everyone says buy onc cry once. They also say buy the best you can afford.... If anything you do is a sacrifice what is the bottom line that is still worth buying?
Hey Terry! Great question. We suggest sending an email over to Cody Nelson at optics@GOHUNT.com with your budget and wants in optics. Cody is really great at looking at your requirements and finding the best option for you.

What are your thoughts on the Swarovski CL companion 8x30. For travel, hiking, sporting events, general use. I have 10x42 Vortex Diamondbacks now. I’m thinking a smaller, lighter, higher quality, and perhaps slightly lower power set than the Vortex might be better.
Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out. Please shoot our expert Optics Manager, Cody Nelson, an email at optics@gohunt.com He'll hook you up by providing excellent recommendations and answering any questions you may have. Best of luck this season!!

Hi Taylor! If you ever have any questions on what optics would work best for you, you can always send Cody Nelson an email at optics@GOHUNT.com. He can help you pick between a few options!
Check out the FoV on the 32s; the ELs get significantly wider in both 8x and 10x if you size down. I love my 10x32 EL FPs; they give up almost nothing to the NLs and I got them used in perfect condition for about a third of the price. 😁
From Cody Nelson, goHUNT's Optics Manager: "There is not an "EL 10x42 W B". That was an 10x42 SLC W B that is no longer produced. The EL differs in that the EL has field flattener lenses and filters creating a wider FOV with better edge to edge clarity along with enhanced resolution and overall clarity. But the SLC was a lesser price point they were very high quality and higher light transmission."
Personally, I'll never buy Swaro's . Spending $4000.00 dollars on a pair of bino's is one stupid thing. But buying a pair for that, with only a #1-year warranty actually is insane. No more lifetime warranty's for swaro products is a fast deal breaker for me. You realize you can buy a motorcycle for 4 grand and motorcycles have a lot more moving parts and accessories. Bino's like Big screen T.V.'s and computers and iPad, has changed. There is a lot of good bino's out there now. Clear glass and lifetime warranties. I just bought a Kowa pair off Amazon for $449.00 and I'll go against anyone for image, color, and clarity. And no worries, Kowa has been around as long as Swaro has. And gives a lifetime warranty. Outstanding glass...!!! Peace. P.s Kowa had all 5 stars ...!!! Everyone who bought them gave them 5 stars ""Coughs"" Zeiss and Swaro didn't do quite as well. 64% and 56% lol. Your money. CYA.
@@GM-bq6zo My buddy has a pair, I don't. They are exceptional. Mine are the Kowa BD2 XD. $449. And they are better than anything I've ever had or seen. Super clear bino's. Excellent. All I'll ever need, mine are the 10x42. I had never even heard of them before. But they have been making them for 120 years same as Swaro's. Peace.

inherited an old Habicht SLR 8x30 W which might be 40 years old and still works amazing, incredible craftmanship

You didn't get more value at them after the dropped in price if you already bought them at full price! DUH
El range no brainer. Good glass and don’t have to carry an extra optic. What we need is 12/50 w range. Crazy this is not out yet.

Ageed,NL PURE are FANTASTIC. Ergonomics makes them feel lighter than they are,fun optics.
Great Job Cody and Brady very informative and well done you guys just keep raising the bar God's Blessings to you all
🔥🔥

You can get a pair of EL for 2000 and a pair of NL pures will run you 3300. Almost feel like the EL is a good buy now
Such great glass .. one day I’ll own a pair 🤔
I'd love to look through some Swarovski binos one day 🤣
Is there a 1/4" threads on the front of the NL pure for tripod use?
How do the 8x42 EL Range TA compare with the 10X42 El Range TA at last light?

How do you change them to mil and moa
How do they achieve the additional field of view? Do they use a field flattener and thus are able to enlarge the eyepiece field stop?
Some great products love to own a pair!

🗣 bring back the SLC’s
👍
So I hunt in brush country of south Texas, what would be the best glass to choose

Shouldn't be a problem. Please shoot our Optics Manager an email at optics@gohunt.com to be sure. Thanks and best of luck this season!
All these Swarovski binoculars are great. We already know. Thanks though.
Then why are you here? Lol.

PoooOOoQo
If you could go back, would you have purchased the 8x42 vortex?
€500 extra for the NL pures… I took the EL. Those 18 m wider view at 1000 m, it’s nice but not €500 extra
Are these good for range?

I'm going to order some nl pure... now 10s or 12s 🤔

8x42
They should have worked with OnX and their offline maps. Google is a big miss,,,
Awesome thanks guys
Glad you enjoyed it!!

Is there a difference between the "EL 10x42 W B" and the "EL Swarovision 10x42" ?

Better go for 8x42
Wait until some sensible firm brings out an ED image stabilised with good field of view . All non is binoculars will then be outperformed.
Nice glass
The best!
Hi I want a swarovski 10by42
Hi
Where can I find the range finding SwarO video?
