It's yours, so do whatever you want, and as long as you "keep the spirit" of the original one, I'm all for it. It shows, that it's actually used and not just collected/displayed, which is highly appreciated.
I really enjoyed the talk about his philosophy. It's so much better than just listing the specs. Thanks for the insights; really looking for more shop-visits and talks with the owners 😊
Love this. It is not modification for the sake of it. Rather it addresses key aspects of the car that needed attention, such as frontal down force, brake and engine ventilation, subtle handling and performance upgrades that enhance what is already there rather than detracting from it. The visual changes remain cohesive with the original design and maintain an OEM design ethos. Superb stuff. Brave to do it with a car of this status and I'm not surprised it has taken 10 years to achieve these results.
To me, modifying an Enzo is a bit too much but, I must say that Ide-san's work is simply stunning. Loved the way the cameras are integrated, really cool! Great work Dino!
you are probably thinking from the perspective of owning it and having that supercar only. I'm torn on the mods as well but what if you had more money than you can spend and/or another Enzo or had 20 other supercars laying around maybe you would think differently and would mod your Enzo as well. I think it looks better for sure.
very sharp. He said the "response" and the sound. That rev was like an F1 car. It was quick and high pitched and immediately came back to idle. That is on point.
I could listen to engineers like Ide-san for hours on end, walk away wiser and still yearn to know more. There's something genuinely incredible about the sheer levels of passion and craftsmanship that go into projects such as these. Thank you for sharing all these insights, and huge props to Ide-san for completing his project!
as someone who has been a passenger in an Enzo at full chat, I can't fathom it needing any more power but he really does have a point regarding the importance of instant response of both steering and acceleration. Mega content Dino👌
That Enzo is stunning. The wheels remind me of a modernized version of the Ferrari F50 wheels. That body kit suits that car incredibly well and makes the car look 20 years newer. Thank you for sharing this with us Dino. Ciao!
You know what?... I love the Japanese. Their car culture, innovations, food, anime and imagination. It's like there's nobody being negatively critical about their dreams and look how creations turn out. Just think about the name "Idle Power"... An engine Idling uses the least amount of power to stay running, but this tuner makes increased engine power. Such a great name. Ichiban🏆
We only really hear from the successful eccentric entrepreneurs… Their work culture for the average wage/salaried employee is not good. The hours people are expected to work are insane, and there’s barely any annual leave.
@@Asiansxsymbol Well… It’s f**king them up. Young people don’t have any time or money to have kids because they have to work such long hours just to get by. They’ve been in population decline for a long time. If companies don’t start trying to improve their workers work life balance instead of their profit margins, they won’t have any workers left long term.
Crazy thing is, 6 to 6.4 litres is actually a tiny change per cylinder. Not even sure that would stop it from being an over square bore/stroke ratio… The mid range improvement probably makes it much more drivable though.
The detail the extent and scope of work that Ide San goes to with his builds illustrates passion and perfection in tuning. If you have the means why wouldn’t you? I hope that you do a video of the BMWs that Iding produce also. It would be cool to see how they have turned them. Thanks again for providing this content. Keep living the dream.
I love this channel for bringing Japanese car culture to the world! Fitting that the Ferrari designed by Ken Okuyama gets refined by another Japanese master. You can keep the SP3 Daytona. I'll have this instead. 😝
Beautiful piece! The love I have for japan be it the cars, bikes, history, way of life, tech, landscape or temperment! Japan is elite and possibly the only coutry in the world where you could comfortably daily a car like this
A stock Enzo produce more than 700hp in real world , there is many tests proving that! Talking about this one, i really like the modifications!! Dream machine!
You seem to understand and communicate in Japanese so well. As a Japanese, I'm impressed and sure you have no problem working or living in japan. Awesome.
Unreal, thanks for sharing! honestly makes me genuinely happy to see things like this. I Hope one day I will be able to see some of Ide-san's masterful work in person!
Love this upload and the idea, it reminds me of what cars like this use to be about in the past, before they became investment pieces. Tuning cars to a high level, personalising them. Hope the upload gets the views it deserves, it’s a great story. Thanks for sharing it on your channel.
It is funny how he knows exactly what is the best, like the tyres were Bridgestone from the Factory. But the Michelin is different in Grip and Drive. I remember when the Enzo in 2004, I was in 8th Grade, reading about it and the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren and Porsche Carrera GT. The other two had Michelin tyres from Factory. Now, in 2023, it feels so perfect and clear. Thank you for the video and details.
So special what this gentlement does for the enthusiast community and the owners. Kudos to the owners for trusting his vision and ability to make such changes. IdingPower cars must be amongst the greatest driving machines on the plant. Simply amazing
I always found something on the design of the Enzo lacking, the F40 and F50 have always stuck with me better. But I really dig the changes on this one.
The first car I’ve seen digital/cameras side mirrors look great on. Some people may disagree with the positioning of them but the car was made for them
wow this is truly another level of awesome, such masterpiece. I never know that iding power exists (honestly i only know them recently from your channel Dino of their private trackday event lol) and also i have watched your review on this shop with Larry Chen, it really blows my mind how they do it on each and every car they built completely, based on their philosophy and i really admire them, i think i'm not over exaggerating to say that they are legendary
I think another video with him discussing the design philosophy with the BMWs he has developed would make for a good contrast to this "no limit" Ferrari OEM+++ build.
Absolutely love this , shame Ferrari take such a harsh stance on modifications. Especially when they look as good as this. Amazing work guys looks awesome
Two things. First : i always found funny , when Ferrari does a car with a design based basically on purpose ,the Journos call it "bold" or "purposeful" BUT when any other car maker do it its just "UGLY". Second : 9 YEARS?!? DAMN!! but yes the result is astonishing , i think its the first time i can say with no doubt that the ,or better , THIS Enzo looks PERFECT.
I ma not sure how I feel about the esthetics of the car...it does look more modern but is it as pretty and subtile as before 🤔. That being said I think the tech is great and to have the confidence to say to one self "I can make it better " is fabulous ! Love the content guys, such a great format 👌🇫🇷🥂
That man is the very opposite of the stereotypical tuner. I honestly think these kind of guys only exist in Japan, America, Great Britain and Germany (not Italy because they work for Ferrari and Lamborghini 😸). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... oh derp, I forgot the Aussies! There are a few really classy tuners down there too.
Imagine you give your car away for 9 years for it to be modified and 9 years later the same car is worth 3x in the marketplace but not yours specifically because it was modified.
What are your thoughts on modifying a car as special as the Enzo?
it's your car do as you wish
Someone needs to do it 😂
If 99% of the owners keep it as a museum piece the 1% needs to do justice
Great honestly
It's yours, so do whatever you want, and as long as you "keep the spirit" of the original one, I'm all for it. It shows, that it's actually used and not just collected/displayed, which is highly appreciated.
If there is interest go for it. To me that front end looks better then stock Enzo
