Confusing that DC opted to go with the word 'Absolute' for this new line of books, considering that they already have the 'Absolute Editions', and they're a different thing.

The two cartoon Hellboy movies (with Ron Perlman) are really really good and get forgotten way to often.

I agree. They were both great and do not get enough comic book film affection.

Chris...a quick tip on what to do about cramps:
Fully straighten your leg immediately and pull up your foot (i.e. toes and ball of the foot) as hard as you can.
That will relieve your muscles right away.
The principle is to stretch the muscles to the highest degree. It also works with other muscle groups, e.g. straighten the arm and pull the fingers up so that the palm faces away from you, to counter cramps in the arm. Or, I sometimes get cramps in the lower jaw / neck area, where it helps to stretch the chin / lower jaw forward and pull the head back (looking up) as far as possible.
Doing that, I never have cramps for more than 2 seconds.
Edit: I just remembered, sometimes it's helpful to use either a hand or any solid surface for straightening the leg and pulling up the toes, if you can't sufficiently control your muscles otherwise. Just anything in your environment that can help with that.

I would say the ending to the first run of Love and Rockets. Issue 50. Seemed like a perfect ending to a 10 year run. I am glad they started a new run with volume 2 though.

I’m burnt out on BATMAN except reading a lot of Infantino’s run in the Silver Age. Stories guaranteed not to depend on anti-depressants! Hey, Chris Tropes, how about a video on Carmine Infantino’s BATMAN in the 60’s?

    Hi Chris!
A couple of recommendations of series that I thought ended strongly...
'Paper Girls' I re-read the whole series after Amazon put out their only season of the show and I discovered that I actually hadn't read the final issue yet because I forgot I had been saving it for when I was finally ready to say goodbye to the cast.
'The Wicked + The Divine' Just a phenomenal series from start to finish. Whenever I am asked what comic I would like to see adapted into a TV show I always say Wicked and Divine with wall-to-wall music made by a collaboration between the bands Metric and Chvrches (and lately I've tossed Magdalena Bay into that supergroup because why not? It's my fantasy, I'll make it as big as I like).
Also, have you considered listening to some foreign music, to scratch that new music itch? Australia has some terrific acts you may not have ever heard of.
'Something for Kate' have been a favourite of mine for over twenty years. Their most recent two albums, 'Leave Your Soul to Science' and 'The Modern Medieval' are absolutely awesome.
A newer band I also love are 'Slowly Slowly' who have recently released an excellent album called 'Daisy Chain' as well as a new song, released last week titled 'Gimmie the Wrench.'
Stay well and keep up the great work! I love catching these shows on the replay.

Chris, that was an eerie moment when the Scarlett comic was at the top of you pile after discussing the Gaiman issue (FYI others: Scarlett is the name of a key accuser). I doubted the podcast at first but the documentary evidence and Gaiman’s concessions about what did happen are damning. He has been unethical, greedy and hypocritical with his fame. That said, I had the same thought with regard to the possibility of the S-word in this case so I think your response is well judged, Chris.

By documentary I mean the WhatsApp messages, voicemails and emails cited in the podcast. I think you said you didn’t listen to the final episode? I found that one very sad & it tipped my opinion on the matter.
