- In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by Catholic convert, or revert from non-denominational Evangelical Christianity, Austin Habbish. Austin is the founder of Think Catholic, the host of the podcast Summa in a Year, and the heart and mind behind Sent Evangelization.
In this episode Austin shares some of his experiences, as a Catholic, evangelizing door-to-door in his parish neighbourhoods. We talk about the obligation as baptized believers to evangelize, the importance of taking care of everyone (not just the Catholics) in our parish neighbourhoods, and how to evangelize in a world that's increasingly unfriendly, un-churched, and where religion is a foreign language.
Austin's an awesome guy with a huge heart for evangelization. This is a great conversation.

My Catholic grandmother evangelized door to door.❤God bless her soul.
We don’t do enough evangelization. I’m looking to improve on that. Thanks for the conversation!
Yes we are clearly expected in the Gospels to share the faith where possible. This talk was very encouraging. God bless catholic evangelists everywhere! It is not easy, I tried it as an evangelical Protestant . Now as a catholic in the UK I regularly hand out catholic tracts where I can. It's not the best, but I believe every little helps.🙏😊🕊️
Your videos always inspire. Thank you! My wife is a convert and I am a revert.
Just the interview I have been waiting for! Fantastic! I have noted all the resources Austin mentioned. Great guest!
I agree that as Catholics we shouldn’t always feel too comfortable or unmotivated. We should always learn and delve into our faith further in order to be able to evangelize better and more effectively.
4:23 Austin starts his story here
Very encouraging 👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing your ministry❤. Its amazing. I have been thinking to do the same but I need to learn first.
Our church has legon of Mary it's a group of people who go evangelize in our local area. However most of them now are older so it's not as easy.
Go ye and make disciples…the Protestant motto.
Thanks Keith!

It seems that there’s countless Catholics who doesn’t know much about our faith and so having said that there’s a need of very well learned people in the Catholic Church to train and educate unlearned Catholics to understand the many difficult things that the Catholic Church teaches. Along with scriptures for it will be chaotic for unlearned Catholics to evangelize and and don’t know much about it and that could definitely lead to errors that other religions would gladly jump on and say that’s why Catholics are false and this makes sense to me.Thank you my catholic brother for another great video May you be rewarded from above generously Amen 🙏
🙌🏽 I’m being pulled to start a similar type of Catholic ministry. Here to support anyone thinking the same.. I’m in Vegas but Zoom is a wonderful tool ❤
What would you tell me if you knocked on my door to Evangelize me? How would you tell me I could be Saved?
Jesus started Catholic church and has an exclusive path to salvation.
@ Well when they start teaching Scripture Correctly Ill join!
I think his last name is spelled "Habash".
Please let the guest speak. It's common sense.
Nice words, but the what defines the official RCC is not "community" , but hierarchy.
Both/and, not either/or.
Terrible strawman from someone indoctrinated to despise and fear this “boogeyman” (=Catholicism). I do lament for you, my friend. May you know truth, so that truth sets you free (John 8, 32). God bless!
The leadership may be hierarchical but the faithful are enjoined to evangelize. The early church started with the 12 as apostles and did the evangelizing, but as the church grew the members are all called to evangelize.
The Catholic Church is a community centered around the Holy Eucharist. Please read John 6 and ALL the COMMENTARIES.❤
Its heirarchical since old testament
@bethanyrose2023 the sacrifice of Jesus changes everything. It's now relational. We are all the sons of God.
1 Peter 2:5,9
[5]Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
[9]But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
