Fr. Boniface, though you will likely not see this I just wanted to say God bless you, and that I can see the light of God’s love shimmer in your eyes and it softens my heart. You are an incredibly wise and joyful man, and it is a great pleasure to listen to you. The beard absolutely rocks as well. Lastly I would be humbled and honored to be in your prayers! Peace be upon you Fr. Boniface. God bless you as well Mr. Fradd!
I was also at the NEC. It was such a powerful experience! What Father Boniface said about finding intimacy with Jesus in such a large crowd summed up my experience perfectly. I was so touched that Jesus found me and touched me personally amongst so many. Our God is so amazing! I also met Father briefly. He signed his book on Personal prayer which has also been a gift.
I knew Dave ❤ him and I worked in ministry in the diocese. He was an amazing person and his joy and love for the Lord was infectious. Hearing you share his story and witness of God’s glory was just what I needed to hear. He has been on my heart recently as a post about Silverchair came up on my feed and I was reminded of him since we both really liked them. ❤ Eternal Rest grant unto you Dave … May you rest in God’s eternal embrace!
The clip of being too scared to convert really struck a chord. I hope there is more to be said. Looking forward to this episode airing. Humbly hoping for it to drop early! 😊 Happy Thanksgiving pints community!
Meekness is a great word. It's also an equestrian term, which helps us understand its meaning. They call it "meeking the horse". Which is to say, you're bringing the horse under control. When you think about the great power that is brought under control in a horse, then we begin to understand what it is to be meek. It's not that we aren't full of passion, or strength and power, but that in meekness, we bring that male virility under control, and we keep it in control even when it wants to run wild. We direct that passion, that strength, is such as way as to bring about the good. That's meekness.
When you were talking about how hard commitment can be, a quote from Dostoevsky came to mind. "Love in action is a harsh and dreadful thing compared to love in dreams." Dying to self is painful but necessary. So easy to say but difficult to live out.
Out of curiosity I looked up America Magazine to see what they were saying, and yes, it was bad. But, I found it interesting that even though they have over 70k subs, all the comments were condemning the sin and scandal that the channel is promoting. Not sure where their supporters were at in the comments.
I'm thinking of getting a study bible to better understand the stories of the old testament - what translations/examples would you guys recommend for someone who is not afraid of a challenge?
You pray to Saint John the 23rd in this video God Bless him. But have you ever been to Saint John the 23rd parish in Fort Myers Florida ? Father Jay would love to have you as a guest. You have traveled down to Immokalee to teach at Ave Maria. Fort Myers is not that far. Make a trip and ask to speak to father Jay.
I think if Matt listens to this back, he'll hear a tendency to interrupt. I noticed it more this episode than usual, but that doesn't mean he was doing it more than usual. Just a bad habit to look out for.
Romans 4:2 KJV "For if Abraham were justified by works, he has whereof to glory; but not before GOD. 3 For what says the scripture? Abraham believed GOD, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace but of debt. 5 But to him that works not, but believes on HIM that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 8:31 KJV "What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, who can be against us? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of GOD’s elect? It is God that justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? It is CHRIST that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of GOD who also makes intercession for us."

My daughters and I were in that procession and we know Bishop Cozzens very well. It was an amazing moment that I will never forget!

Attending the NEC as a Seminarian was a life changing moment

Wow, what an amazing quote. Thank you for sharing.
Lord is every moment and every where
It would be super cool if people prayed in private like they were asked to.

Is the Fradd studio in Stubenville shutting down once the one in Florida opens up? Love the show. Keep up the good work

Very true! Praise God for his Bride, the Church!

@jacktracy8356 Absolutely! Thanks be to Jesus Christ, God forever and ever!
There are A LOT of bots that are designed to incite, that’s why the paywall works
Why changed name
Hi Mat I had situation my brother is gay pretend to be most of his life than rebellion against Christ Jesus ❤❤❤❤ love Clay
Evangelical to of us....kings of men I am evangelical saved
I am so sorry... I putted up with the whole joke while praying, then I had to leave when he called Roncalli a saint...
I don’t like this guy. His interpretation of our lady is borderline idolatrous. It truly diminishes Christ.
