    I bought a 2021 dark horse new 3 years ago. No issies in 18,000 miles. The 116 has all the power i need. With wife on back i go std, solo go to sport. Put bars off a vintage model, mustach and saddlebag crash bars before i topk it home. Have sonce did the quick release smoke windshield, back rest with luggage rack, Ultimate seat with rider backrest. Still impressed every time i ride it. If anyone ask why i bought a Indian i say "because is not a Harley"

    A single engine has the same torque despite being on different bike models. Horsepower; however, comes as a result of torque by rpm divided by a factor (this is content for another video). Each bike model would have different specs in terms of accessories, weight, drag etc. That means HP might be different in all bikes despite having the same engine. Basically the twisting force (torque) comes before the output (HP). BTW, I am on my second Indian Springfield. Thank you for the great video.

    I thought these were dedication bikes to the late Bessie Stringfield. However, when I first learned about her, I thought her name was “Springfield”. Her first motorcycle was an Indian Scout at the age of 16, back in 1927. She was a very brave woman. God knows the evils she was subject to while traveling across America back then.

    • @FinesseTheChallenger
      @FinesseTheChallenger  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @FinesseTheChallenger
      @FinesseTheChallenger  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of the lineup the Springfield DH and Scout are the only stripped down bikes that connect with the history of IMC. Sometimes , you will see that dealers add little bits and bobs because, it just looks good. However, I’m with you… I like the style and tech so hopefully IMC continues to blend that into their products.

    Hello sir my name is Slyde I want to purchase a Indian motorcycle can you tell me any cons I need to worry about and I’m also hearing after 3 to 4yrs of purchasing the bike you suppose to trade the Indian motorcycle in for a new. Since your so familiar with Indian motorcycle help me out thank you

    • @FinesseTheChallenger
      @FinesseTheChallenger  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Slyde, as far as cons go it really depends on what model you get each of them has advantages and disadvantages depending on what type of riding you like to do. As far as trading up 3 to 4 years after your purchase there is no need to do so unless you want to. There are many Indian Motorcycles on the road well over 3 or 4 years of ownership with lots of miles on them just make sure you follow the service plan for the bike just as you would for any motorcycle. As an example, @RickieKM has 50K miles on his bike and his latest video goes over issues he had during that time. Additionally, if you are into modding check out @TheBeardedBobber or @BrandonBicasso they both do frame-up mods and restorations, respectively. However, the best way to judge is to get out and test ride and talk to other owners about their experiences with the brand as well as the dealership network. Good luck in your search, if you join the family be sure to let us know what you decided on, and thanks for watching!

      I’m thinking about the Indian chieftain 2024 the bronze one

    • @FinesseTheChallenger
      @FinesseTheChallenger  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bronze? The 2023 Elite? If that is the case don't think too long, they only make 175 of those for the year.
      Me personally, the Chieftain feels smaller more compact in my opinion when compared to the Springfield or the Challenger. I think that is in part due to the handlebar position between the Chieftain and Springfield. When looking at the Chieftain fairing versus the Challenger it feels cramped to me because of how close the Chieftain fairing is to the rider versus the Challenger. Additionally, I wanted more power, so I went with the 122hp Challenger/Pursuit. I would contact the dealership nearest you for a test ride or to see when the next Demo Day is and ride everything lol. The Chieftain is a solid machine, my wife loves hers!

    I would prefer keys. People are easily stealing cars that are keyless now, i assume it will only be a matter of time before they do the same with bikes. If they are not already. Ive heard bad things about bikes being stolen during bike weeks.

      In this instance there was no need to take out a new bike because there was no difference between the two other than button placement. The person purchasing the bike should be putting the miles on it, it wasn’t a press bike.
