@@mclaughlin4321 I really do like the Haas controller but as far as the machine goes you get more for your money with the Syil X7. Since the Syil X7 is cheaper than an equivalent Haas machine you can choose to spend a little bit more on options for the mill. I also did some training with Nerdly from YT using his Syil X7 and had a really good time machining with it. I am about to start my own channel soon as well called Nova Armory if your interested in seeing more about the X7 once I get it. Mostly just going to make some videos on everything that I had to get along with the X7 - tooling, workholding, etc...
This is exactly the kind of video that I've been wanting. I have a Tormach PCNC I bought used that I want to upgrade and a Syil has been the logical upgrade seeing as Haas machines can't compare unless you spend closer to $50k.
Also Haas is against right to repair. If you ever repair anything on it yourself even if you're competent enough to do so, your warranty is voided and all support will cease. A lot of people quite dislike Haas, myself included. My shop has 3 that are not over 10 years and one that's barely over a year. All have been problematic. Each is down at least 2 months out of the year waiting on Haas. Well besides the new one. One was down for 4 months for a simple driver swap.
How did you get it off the steel pallet? Can you chop away the pallet steel in pieces such that the X7 then rests on its own feet and then use a pallet truck between those feet?
Hey. Nice machine. Just subscribed to see it making those knives. Thinking of getting one also. Can you tell me the height of the machine when it is off the steel pallet with the spindle in that transport position please? My garage door is 2m high and don't know if will fit. Thanks
Thanks for the subscription! I just measured and from the floor to the top of the enclosure is 76 inches. There is a status light and a cable guide that rises 2 or 3 inches above that, but they could theoretically be removed to clear a door.
Congrats, Syil was on my list when making a decision for my Cnc mill but didn’t have enough info on them.
Subscribed just for the syil x7 content. Looking forward to your adventures with this equipment.
Nice, congratulations
Congrats! I plan to upgrade from my tormach next year and look forward to seeing how your Syil does.
Ordered my Syil X7 a few weeks ago should be getting it in Sept-Oct, looking forward to seeing your X7 setup and mine as well.
Is there a reason you didn’t get a hass?

Definitely watch my other video on the install!
@@tj.schwarz Just ordered my X7! I looked at your other video, but am still missing how you got it off the steel pallet. Can you elaborate a bit?
Heck yeah one of those is mine. 🔥
haha no way we are going to get more videos, you'll be slammed with orders and setting this beast up!

Hello, I have the doubt if the machine has tool holders or they are purchased separately?
Machines do not typically come with any tool holders unless you add them as an optional package.
Thank you for resolving my question
is this machine wider then deep ? dimension wise ? thank you
I believe it is deeper than it is wide.
