  • The highs and lows of rigging my new SYIL X7.
    Note to self: an 18,000lb forklift does not drive well on gravel.
    If you want to follow along in my X7 journey check out my instagram where I post regular videos on the machine and parts I am making.

    He got the machine in place and didn't break anything. That's a win in my book..
    Some men would just give up and cry about the situation

    What an ordeal... good thing it was not raining...
    Did you tell the trigger before hand about the loose crush stone? He was smart about how he handled the situation.
    An all terrain forklift was the tool he needed. This mistake cost many unnecessary extra hours...
    Nice machine and good video footage!
    I hope you will now make good use of it.
    I will watch your first impressions video next.
    God Bless.

    The first x7 I've seen delivered on top of wooded frame.

      Well this is actually a used machine a little over a year old so this is not how it comes shipped from the manufacturer

      @@blackfoxmachining Ahh Okay.. I figured it might be a used mill but it looked way to clean to be used.

    next time... forklift in shop directly off the rollback. lift machine up through open door move truck. lower machine back up and spin around so the fork lift can get loaded again. boom. Go make some parts!

      @blackfoxmachining  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The garage door height didn’t allow for the forklift to go all the way into the garage unfortunately. That would have made things a bit easier for sure!

      That cage will unbolt off the fork lift. :)
      If you were local to South Carolina Id help a fellow machine shop pour a nice concrete slab outside to fix all the issues and give you a nice place to chop up big material.

    Hello, we have a problem with a syil x7 cnc, could you help us. These are alarms but you don't know what the cause could be.

    I’m wondering why he would bring that type of forklift to a gravel road

    • @blackfoxmachining
      @blackfoxmachining  ปีที่แล้ว

      No idea but he immediately regretted not coming out and seeing what type of gravel drive it was. I think he thought it would have been more compacted down. Lesson learned

  • @Donkusdelux
    @Donkusdelux ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I would consider a different rigger, or better yet getting your own lift if you plan on moving more machines!

    • @blackfoxmachining
      @blackfoxmachining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah this was a friend of a friend and he was great to work with but just didn't have the right equipment for the job and area

    • @Rimrock300
      @Rimrock300 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Forklifts can't see much gravel before they are stuck. Possible a wheel loader would been the best option here. The rigger did a good job with the equipment he had at hand. Good to see a happy ending)

    • @Donkusdelux
      @Donkusdelux 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rimrock300 they make forklifts that handle rough terrain fine, that was a poor lift to bring for this job.

    • @Rimrock300
      @Rimrock300 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are such forklifts. Just thinking a wheel loader is easier obtainable out there, maybe with an contractor in the neighbourhood, that got pallet forks for it@@Donkusdelux

  • @DieselRamcharger
    @DieselRamcharger ปีที่แล้ว

    the problem is that is a hard tire lift. someone should have asked you if it was gravel or paved. a pneumatic forklift woulda had zero issues here.

    • @blackfoxmachining
      @blackfoxmachining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah a pneumatic forklift would have been perfect. If I ever move that's what I will make sure I have.

  • @DieselRamcharger
    @DieselRamcharger ปีที่แล้ว

    you also have terrible subgrade compaction. ps by the way.
